Konnechiwa

this restaurant has great sushi. I have been going to this restaurant since they first were at south forks plaza. they are very nice and more Americanized then most Asian restaurant but authentic Japanese food. been going for 6 years and still can't get enough of rice and sushi. prices are about couple dollar higher but it is well good. I hope others enjoy it.

The flavors of the sauces and the sweat vingear with the sushi rice is just the best thing ive tried for sushi. Konnechiwas has just that. Great sushi. The prices on the otherhand is a little overprice but the flavors make up for it. IVe never seen that big of shrimp for a shrimp roll it was just yummy. I ask the owner what kind of shrimp they use and she siad black tiger it was amazing. If you like suhi try konnechiwas.

Often times when going to a local non-chain restaurant the decor may be off putting to some and like with with a book most would suggest to not judge a book by its cover. Unfortunately this is not the case. The tacky decor only gave you the hopes of better things to come. They were out of items on the menu and what they did have made me wish they were out of it as well. Our main meal was chicken fried rice and curry chicken. I have never left a review anywhere, but the dissapointing and disgusting food we were served prompted me to not mislead any other non-suspecting Asian food lovers.

Cozy atmosphere, good service and yummy sushi. They have a regular menu and a sushi menu. The one and only place in Grand Forks to get good sushi.
