The Engine Builders

So we had a F150 4.6L that was leaking coolant badly into the #1 rebuilt (320K miles on motor, never touched except maint). Had gone to a Prescott Valley shop only to get ripped off (no engine, no money back, lawsuit now) and so was leery. Did extensive background on this shop and, leaving out the VERY few unhappy, found nothing but good news.
First, all initial contact was by phone or email with Kym. She never acted "too busy" to talk and was always friendly, very nice! I decided to go for it and she arranged to have my truck trailered from Prescott area to Glendale. The driver (and I regret not recalling his name but a very pleasant man, Bob or Tom?) arrived (after calling to advise he was on the way) within a decent time frame. He was loaded and gone in 30 minutes with the signed agreement. Eight days later the truck was ready for pickup. Break-in was explained and emphasized relative to oils, miles, etc... I met Kym, wonderful lady... saw some of the staff, all smiling and decent, didn't see any grouches. Was a very nice experience.
Nearly 2K on the motor now, complied with the oil changes, filters, and break in rules. RUNS very well. This is not a race motor, not a performance motor. Their website outlines everything that is done and what is used. My motor pulls nicely, absolutely purrs, idles like a rock, no shakes... my experience was topflight... Kym, the face of Engine Builders, is a great lady and very friendly (and likes fresh vegetables)... at no time was I treated indifferently or rudely... even the Great Dane liked me! Frankly, for the price and results this was a first class job. I am happy.

The Engine Builders built my engine in my 2005 Mustang about 8 months ago. The towed it to the shop for free and had it completed in 4 days. It runs awesome and I was really surprised how hassle free the service waAll of my questions were answered and I had no ride to pick my car up. So the owner himself drove to pick me up to get my car.

I am very displeased with the knowledge I received from the office. I paid to get my car rebuilt and they used thicker oil. I told the guys who build rock crawlers and are in the military. And they were sceptical. They said they have to be covering something up like thickervoil for sound or makecit run like new. I did my 500 mile oil change and there it was later that day I had the same issues . engine shaking again after spending 3290 for new parts on a rebuilt ? I paid that money and it left me broke but hey at least I got my car fixed I Thought... :(

The Engine Builders were referred to me from a friend who was very pleased with the work they did for him. So I called them they towed my F150 to there shop about a week later they called to say it was done. Very pleased with there work and very fast and the price was great and best of all no hidden fees. what they quoted me is what I paid. Thanks Engine Builders for doing a great job

We just had our truck engine rebuilt by these guys and so far everything has been fantastic! They picked up my truck at no extra charge, fixed it quickly, let us know of minor issues to look out for and then delivered it back to us! Their prices are fair and everyone has been super nice. If we have any issues I'll update this review but I really don't think we're going to have any issues with the work The Engine Builders did.

My truck broke down near flagstaff while vacationing. Called the engine builders next day they towed it clear to their shop in glendale for free. Saved me a few hundred right there alone. They told me it would be up to two weeks. 7 days later I get a call that its ready quote price $2690 and believe it or not no price change drove away for the quoted price $2690. Very very happy been about 4 months now and still running awesome. Thanks Engine Builders

I am from tucson and searched for a used replacement engine with not much luck. I then gave the engine builders a call. They came to tucson picked up our suv. And off it went. I was very pleased with the service thus far.

I am very satisfied with my new engine built by engine builders. They did exactly what they said they would do, my truck was delivered on-time, and their cost was exactly what they estimated. The engine runs strong and clean, and they provided very clear break-in instructions. Friendly and professioal, I would recommend them to anyone.
