OMG.... the price was good and he promised the world. We asked for it in writing and there began the problems. We hired him for our roof job. He never asked if he could leave the dumpster in front of our garage door 4 days "before" starting the job. Couldn't access our lawn tractor. They started and finished on time, however we made the mistake of trusting them while we were at work. They were told NOT to drive in the lawn- they did. Rutted our lawn. Ripped the screen on our bow window. Covered over the gable vents. I guess he didn't think we would look in the attic. When we asked that it be corrected to open the ventalation draw he lied and said they would - but only drilled about 5 holes thru old vent & wood. The roof did look very nice, but then it seemed since we inquired about the venting he all of a sudden didn't show up after we came home from work to give him the balance. He wanted us to leave it in our mailbox? and he would get it later. He owes us warranty papers for the materials and seems to have a problem coming up with them ,we stupidly picked up all their cigatettes they littered in our yard and driveway and cleaned up tons of roof staples from our drive, my neighbors! in the yard and he never even provided us with a paid receipt, let alone the 1 yr labor install warranty he promised or our material warranties. We were NOT being picky because we had installed a new drip edge front & back of house 4 months earlier, and he listed & charged to replace it- but just kept ours there. My husband checked the lenghts He had cut to confirm. That was over $160.00 in material- we didn't even mention it. We are glad it's over and will pick more selectively next time. We mentioned the screen, but declined his offer to repair it after seeing the holes he drilled to open into the attic for the gable vents.

I would give him minus 10 stars but that isn't possible. He accepted our deposit over 3 months ago and has never showed up . We call him, he NEVER calls us. When he does answer he tells us I'll be out in 2 weeks, I have an insurance job to finish. He hasn't showed up yet and we are asking for our depoit back. He has no respect for people and has no ethics nor an ounce of professionalism. If he would have at least called to say he was backed up it wouldn't be so bad, but he just IGNORES the fact that he has a few thousand of our dollars. And we have nothing in return but frustration.
