Lillian, I wish I was able to respond to your review directly. I apologize you had a poor experience. I do not remember your dog off the top of my head from last summer. It is very busy during the summer months, we have 20 kennels and yes sometimes we can get 25 if a few have multiple dogs. Depending on the group they can be noisy. We keep very structured hours to alleviate the noise and stress which works very well. Best wishes in the future, there are many lovely kennels in our area. Nichole
I just had my dog boarded here for a week for the first time and I did NOT like the fact that my dog's fur was matted and that I was told 25 dogs had been boarded while she was there. If I'm mistaken the place is not big enough to hold that many dogs unless they were doubled up by choice. I paid for "special" accommodations but what I saw was a concrete wall with a cot and INCREDIBLE barking. It may be that other kennels are the same with noise level but this is not a "retreat" as far I'm concerned. Perhaps my dog liked the commotion with other dogs and the noise. She was healthy and happy to see us and for that I'm grateful. I'm looking for alternatives.

We just moved to the area and had never boarded our 10 y/o poodle Jake before, but after a medical setback we knew we needed a place to rely on in emergency situations. The website was so informative & the facility looks exactly like the pictures. We love the personal attention we receive. It is so nice & probably cleaner than my house. We couldn't be happier....great job!!

Provided by SuperpagesFinally able to go on vacation! After our dog was diagnosed with diabetes and needed insulin, we never thought we could go away again. After meeting with Nichole, we felt very confident in leaving our boy Bailey. The kennel was so clean and felt so safe & secure. We did an overnight trial, and loved the honest feedback we received. We actually look forward to traveling now!

Provided by SuperpagesAfter searching for a kennel in our hometown DC area, and having no luck, we decided to bring our dog to the Rehoboth area with us over Memorial Day weekend. We found Happy Tails website online and were so excited. Happy Tails was accommodating for our last minute request and very friendly. Their Sunday hours are a plus too. The facility is clean, and has such a warm, personal atmosphere. We loved the larger room sizes, and our dog was very relaxed upon pick-up. Now we can travel stress free!

Provided by SuperpagesWe have never had a more pleasant kennel experience in this area. Before we found Happy Tails we thought we would never be able to go on vacation again. Now we love to travel and feel so confident while we are away. We have no worries!

Provided by SuperpagesHappy Tails is by far the nicest kennel in the area. It was a well needed addition to our community. It is such a clean facility. Our two cats were boarded in a "villa" for two weeks and just loved it.

Provided by SuperpagesHappy Tails is the best place around by far! Our Bichon Katie had her own private room with a TV playing Animal Planet the entire time. She loved using the doggie door to her own covered area during the day too.
