Last saturday i shipped one small box ( 1 lb) to texas. The one guy who works in this post office (cashier) didn't even advise or ask me what way i want to ship. He put the box on the scale and told me that the shipping cost was $10.50 . I assumed he knew which way is better/ faster for the small box so i just paid. But now i found out he chose the long way (parcel for my 1 lb box when the shipping cost was the same as priority mail or maybe just $.50 cents different. But instead of advising me to see if i wanted to pay the little different for faster ship, he didn't say anything at all and chose the long way (parcel) himself. Now i don t know how long more the recipient will have to wait to receive the box. I called the post office, they said "wait for another week" and if not receive then check back with them, what the .......

I'm wondering if they trained this guy before putting him in this position (customer service.)

I was very happy with the service I received while applying for my passport. Despite what always looks like a never ending stream of applicants, Dave, the gentleman who helped us made this a pleasant and informative experience. Considering that most people are not really familair with all the details of applying, It seemed that many people, myself included were not prepared enough to complete the process in one visit, myself included. Dave was freindly and patient with us and everyone else in the office. he must have the patience of a saint, as they say.
