Preventive Care

Dental Care
We recommend that you do a yearly dental cleaning for your pet. Dental disease can affect your pets overall health. During these procedures we can assess any issues within the mouth, clean and polish the teeth, providing a longer life for your pet.
Vaccination
Our wellness appointments (healthy exams, routine vaccines, etc) are scheduling 6-8 weeks in advance. We have recently added vaccination reminders via E-mail and text to be sent 3 months prior to their due date. Recommendations are to call or email us to schedule your pet(s) vaccine appointments as soon as you receive this first reminder. You will continue to receive E-mail/text reminders at 8 weeks prior, text again at 4 weeks prior and via post-card in the mail.
Behavioral Counseling
Besides avoiding unwanted litters, spaying(females) and neutering(males) eliminates false pregnancy, uterine infection(pyometra), uterine, ovarian, and testicular cancer. It also reduces the risk of prostate problems and mammary cysts and cancer. It decreases some behavioral problems, aggression and marking. Spayed and neutered pets are less likely to roam.
Comprehensive Examination
A Veterinary-Client-Patient-Relationship (VCPR) is required by law for any medical, surgical procedures or prescriptions for your pet(s). This VCPR is maintained by an animal's annual physical examination with a veterinarian. In the event your pet(s) most current examination has been longer than 1 year, appointment times offered may depend on availability and a monetary deposit for that appointment time may be required.

Illness Treatment

Parasites Treatment and Control
1. All patients that are coming in for a procedure, that requires anesthesia will need to be up to date on all core vaccines (canine and feline) and a heartworm test (canine only) for the safety of the patient.
Pain Management
The doctors and staff hate to see your pet suffer from joint and muscle pain. We have the latest in laser therapy treatment to provide an alternative to traditional pain management. Ask us how Laser Therapy may provide a solution for your pet.

Infection Treatment

Leptospirosis Treatment
To have a happy and healthy pet, your dog needs to receive an annual check-up, Leptospirosis vaccine, Heartworm testing and a stool test each year. The first Rabies vaccine and the first DHPP is a 1 year, and then they given every 3 years. The Lyme vaccine, Influenza vaccine and Bordetella vaccine is given yearly if needed.
Parvovirus Infection Treatment
We are able to perform many in house diagnostic laboratory test. Including but not limited to full blood panels (Complete blood counts, Blood chemistry), fecal floatation, cytology, Giardia test, Parvovirus testing, Feline Leukemia test, Feline Aids test, Heartworm test.

Veterinary Surgery

Laser Surgery
We provide a wide range of surgical procedures including but not limited to: spay/neuter, feline declaw, tumor removal, orthopedic procedures, hernia repair, canine tails and dewclaw removal, dentistry, radiographs, laser surgery.
Declawing
Declawing is an optional procedure for your cat and depends on your own preference and the cat's clawing or destructive behavior. Cats may be declawed as early as 12 weeks of age (must weigh at least 3lbs), at the same time as spaying or neutering (4-6 months) or later in life.
Spaying and Neutering
We recommend spaying (females) and neutering (males) as early as 4 months of age. Besides eliminating the potential for unwanted puppies and kittens, this can also reduce behavior problems.

Laboratory Services
Prevented than treated. It is important that we preform a blood test every year and put your dog on monthly heartworm prevention all year long to prevent this disease.
