Money hungry and only care about making profit. Sick kids and out of control physically violent children can come to school every day and are never sent home unless parents want to pick them up. Management picks and chooses which teachers they support and fail to provide support to all teachers when dealing with difficult and out of control children. I worked here as a teacher for almost a year and was really really beginning to hate it towards my last few months as I began to realize how little the owner and management really cares about how the teachers feel and how they are supported. It is disappointing to say that one teacher could give a difficult and violent child to the office for help and immediately get that help without hesitation while another teacher can ask for the same change of environment for a child during a struggling moment and be told no, or forced to wait 10 minutes before management comes to the classroom to help because they "want to see if you and the child can work it out." Pathetic and insulting. I will never take my children here or work here again.

I am not surprised with some of these bad reviews. I took my son out of this daycare he calls "cray cray daycare" because he was very uncomfortable here. Teachers used foul language, yelled at him and he continued to get sick because there is no sick policy. Basically, kids were dropped off with fevers, diarrhea and vomiting. There seemed to be way too many students in one location as well. Some teachers were nice but seemed overwhelmed and unhappy. The YMCA is so much better! Go elsewhere for your child's health and your sanity. Go here to see their list of violations: https://childcarecenter.us/provider_detail/pine_hills_learning_place_fort_wayne_in

Very Good!

I have had two kids attend Pine Hills. They really enjoy it there. It is chaotic to me, but it works for them! They offer a great all day program for working parents. Kids can be dropped off as early as 6am and stay as late as 6pm. They provide a hot lunch and two snacks during the day. All of this for one low price. Another great feature is that your children can sign up (at an additional cost) for gymnastics, piano and karate lessons. The curriculum is pretty good too. They only offer pre-school thru kindergarten, so it is mostly the basics - letters, phonics, numbers, etc... They do follow the NW Allen guidelines for kindergarten.

The only reason I can't give them 5 stars isn't a reason not to consider them for your children. They are definitely worth looking at. My only hold back is a staffing issue. The majority of the staff is wonderful. The teachers are great with my children. But my only problem is with an office staff member. She just isn't very nice, at least not all of the time. As I said in the beginning, the place is a little chaotic, at least until you learn the system. And she is not very helpful when it comes to helping you, as a parent, learn. She seems put out about having to help and I have actually caught her in a lie (I think it was easier to lie than take the time explain). She does have a few families that she will go out of her way to help and warmly greet each morning, but we were never lucky enough to be one of them.

Anyway, aside from this one small problem, the program there offers a lot and I would recommend them to anyone!

In response to the below false accusations :
We are responsible for the children in our care, and are MANDATED to REPORT any signs of abuse.
We run a statewide and NATION wide criminal background report though a fingerprint police record. We have NO staff member on "Probation"
The child was NEVER brought to ANY office and had pictures taken. This child has been a student at Pine Hills for three years and in 2016 the mother that posted the below false accusations asked Pine Hills to call CPS and ask for help because CPS wouldn't listen to HER!
It is heartbreaking to us that she was pulled out of our care. We want only the best for her and her family.

When i first enrolled my child into this facility everything seemed amazing, but the older my daughter became the more i began to see how fake these women are....my child is very active and has bruises on her body because she loves to play....i have explained this to these idiots numerous times but they cannot understand why a child would bruise. They brought my child into the office took pictures of her bruises without my knowledge and scared her to thr point she didnt want to return....they had me take her to a doctor to be examined, which the doctor said the bruises looked like a child was being active. When i returned i was threatened by the fake ms maggie if my chikd didnt return it'd make my case look bad. Soon found they called cps on my child, the fake ladies didnt even listen when i had met with them and what id been saying...also found that one of my childs teachers was on probation. Do u really want that kind of person teaching your child, while u pay the daycare 200 dollars a week? I dont reccommend this place to anyone. I wouldnt send my dog there.

They claim to be a very friendly and welcoming "family". At first it does appear that way, but if your child does not meet their cookie cutter mold, they want nothing to do with them. Many of the teachers are friendly, but many a times I saw them sitting in the corner on their phones texting. The director acts friendly, but don't let that fool you. She can be a very condescending individual who is little to no help when issues arise.

Everything a parent wants for their child

There isn't enough room on this review to tell you how wonderful of a place Pine Hills is. My jaw was on the floor when I read the review of the person before me. All I can say is with an attitude like that I'm sure your children act the same way you do and it's no wonder they have problems. You should be ashamed to call yourself an adult and I feel sorry for your kids. But enough about you, because I don't want your Spiteful disgusting post to take attention away from the millions of fabulous things people have to say about the facility and staff of Pine Hills. If you look on any other site but this one you will see that they have five star ratings across the board. They also have been voted #1 child care for like 7 years in a row. My son has been in 3 of their rooms so far with each being more amazing than the last. Of course problems arise, as with any public place, but they are always quick to address and fix them. If you want your child to be taken care of by people who love them as much as you do, and people who know how to have fun and educate at the same time, then this is the place for you!

The fake director and her even more fake bleach blonde hussy of a daughter are atrocious human beings. They allow your child to be bullied unmercifully, and if you ask them why, they blame you. The staff is not only unqualified teeny boppers, but they are also overwhelmed. Then again, if you want you child to be beaten to the point he needs to get staples in his head while the teeny boppers and bleach blondes tee hee hee elsewhere, then by all means, Pine Hills is the place for you.
