Best Buy

Really good store I've always went here for my electronics, they offer really good warranty plans, and great customer service .

For the service they provide, Best Buy is okay. They're in the business of selling electronics to customers and try to provide service without a commission. That being said, I agree with other reviewers that their sales staff can be a bit annoying. You can't walk 5 feet without being accosted by a sales associate. Half the time they really aren't that knowledgeable and have to go get someone else. I knew someone who worked at a store and he said the floor associates are watched and if they get caught walking by a customer without addressing them, they'll get in trouble.

As far as the reviewer who suggested going to A+ Computers, be wary. They are highly overpriced and don't always give the best advice. I've been in the IT field for many years and am very unimpressed with A+. If you need computer help, find someone who is independent.

you almost had me thinking you were a decent store. i went here to purchase a CD and i was hassled the whole way out. i found the CD on my own, and then went to browse through the external hard drives and laptops. an employee popped up and asked me if i wanted a demonstration of how a macbook pro works. i told him "no thank you" because i am not a mac user and i prefer to learn on my own. he followed me over to the next computer and started telling me about it. i was just looking to see how many gigs of ram it had, i wasn't there to purchase a computer that day, i was shopping around for one. i had enough of being followed around and told all about Windows 7 Home Premium, so I started to walk away, and he asked me to call if i had any questions and he would be glad to wait on me again. desperate for sales...thats all those people are. they'll harass you til you buy something or leave.

I went in with my son to purchase a car audio system for his new car. The sales associate was very knowledgeable and listened to what we wanted and gave us several great options. I was greatly impressed with the fact that he was not a normal "pushy salesman" but actually tried to help us find what suited our needs, not what made the most money. I will be returning here for all my home and car audio shopping.

It was great, Needed help they where there to help. I got a XBox 360 and it broke, took it back and they gave me a new Xbox 360. And I got a Ipod touch and they help me get a case and a home charger. This store is great they helped alot. A+ store

If I could rate it with no stars, I would. The service people could care less if they help you or not! I would rather drive across the state than to have to go back to this store!! BEWARE!! Go anywhere but here!

The lap top I purchased here died on me after 4 months. Not Best Buy's fault, I know. But their $300 "insurance" you can purchase does squat. I took my computer in to get a new hard drive, the "geek squad" couldn't do anything with it in the store. So they told us they had to ship it out and it would take about two weeks, we told them to go ahead. They waited a WEEK after that to tell us that they hadn't sent it out because they needed our "authoriztion" (which we already gave them). So a month later with no word, I call. They have it. Did not bother to tell us it came in. NEVER go to this Best Buy for computer service. EVER.
