David Beare PhD

We met Dr. Beare after my husband had a near fatal Strep A Sepsis and Necrotizing fasciitis. He was critically ill several days, began to notice more going on around him but each day was new. He couldn't remember. At first it was day to day visitors and progressed to not remembering how to go to the hospital for dressing changes after discharge. We continued to notice he wasn't himself and was afraid of crowds, going out in public and many other things. It completely changed our lives. We searched for help with local physicians about his memory and other issues. We asked for a referral to a Doctor who would test and not just pin a tag on him that said Alzheimer's disease. So we found Dr Beare.
What a Godsend. He did testing over many days, listed to the 2 of us through several interviews and gave us a diagnosis that doesn't fill us with dread. He's "broken" but can still have a good quality of life. Thanks for everything you have done for us to get to the bottom of our mystery.
