Sunnyland Canvas

Don't bother unless you have forever to get the work done. We had him come on our boat which was in the marina right next to the shop. He was helpful and had great ideas. He said he would have a quote to us in a few days. Well several weeks later, no quote. How hard is it to do a quote?

The funny thing is that when we talked to others here at the marina next to the shop and told them we were looking to have Sunnyland do our canvas they told us not to waste our time with them. These are the people who live here on their boats. They said yes we like him and have drinks at the bar with him but hes unreliable so dont use him, go elsewhere.

For the several weeks not getting a quote we would often see him hanging around on the docks watching the goings on during the day. If we were in his vicinity he would turn and not look at us. Meanwhile we talk to folks who are paying or extra slip days because a promised date for a repair is not met. I'm not sure how you can get business without quoting it.

We werent looking for a small repair, we were looking to replace the whole enclosure. I guess Sunnyland has huge megayacht clients because they certainly dont care about thier bread and butter right in the marina they are located at.

After spending $6K on cushions, we are very unhappy with the quality and the customer service. They are difficult people to work and don't seem to know what they are doing.

We had our boat enclosure redone recently by Sunnyland Canvas and it has been a great experience from design to installation. The new enclosure is perfect and price was better than the 2 other quotes we got. It's been all done in a very reasonable time. Their very professional advice helped making our boat more comfortable.
