The Hut

We were there on Friday at 3pm. The place was clean and comfortable the staff was welcoming and efficient.
We have been wanting to stop in after driving by weeks ago. So Friday we made a plan to go and when we got there it looked closed due to only one car in a large parking lot. We looked for the hours on line and it was open. They have parking out back also. Off season has reduced the amount of customers and we were told that Monday and Tuesday they are closed.

My husband ordered the prime rib dip sandwich and I ordered fried shrimp. Baked potatoes and prime rib steak dinner were not ready till 4pm. That’s ok because if you go for dinner they will not be dry. My husbands meal was the best he has ever had and he does not give out compliments lightly. My meal was generously plated with shrimp and while the macaroni and cheese and coleslaw were not to my taste my husband loves them.

This is not a city restaurant so if the prior opinions are looking for that perfection then go elsewhere. For this area I believe this to be a five star quality place. They have local entertainment on specific evenings a place outside for pet lovers and the interior wall murals are beautifully painted.

They do not advertise and only rely on word of mouth. A mistake in my opinion as we would have been there earlier if we had known that existed. They are a wonderful place and you should go.

Loved the new look of The Hut. Four of us dined there and each had a very enjoyable meal. We will definitely make a return trip to try some other menu items. Shrimp Diane was awesome as well as the salmon.

I had the filet trio and it was GREAT! my husband had the pecan grouper dinner the BEST AROUND!! the Belgium Chocolate Cake, Key Lime Cheesecake!!!! Everyone she try them!

Anything on their menu is great! The grouper rockefeller and Tilapia Milanese is out of this world. Great place for get together with friends and to bring out of towners.
