Have you ever had your carpets cleaned and two days later they looked like they have never been done in the first place? There is a science to cleaning carpets and very few cleaners take the time to learn what it is! I have been to class room training to get certified in what it takes to properly clean carpets. Have you had your carpets cleaned before and it took days for them to dry? Once again it is from a lack of training! More water does not mean a better cleaning and can have real adverse effects to the carpet itself. After a carpet cleaning the carpets depending of the humidity should take 3 to 4 hours to dry at most 6 hours.

Upholstery Cleaning
Mother Hubbard’s Carpet Cleaning started in 2004 when my brother purchased a truck mounted carpet cleaning van at an auction in New Hampshire. He gave me the idea of starting a carpet and tile cleaning business when I was struggling to find a job that I was happy with. My friends and I sat down and came up with the logo design and Mother Hubbard’s Carpet Cleaning was born. When I first started, like most people do, I used my friends as guinea pigs. I did a few jobs and the customers were happy, but I wasn’t. I continued with customers, but I was always wanting better carpet cleaning results than I was getting. That is when I figured I better go to school to learn about what I do for a living. There is a lot to carpet and tile cleaning, and I learned that a lot of mistakes can be made. I never thought that carpet, tile and upholstery cleaning comes down to good chemistry !!! I won’t bore you with the details but certain chemicals are needed to get the results that we all want!!! We all want a great results and I am the one who wants it the most.
Tile and Grout Cleaning
Dirty Grout lines?? This is one of the most rewarding jobs I love to do! I can tell you that I have gone back into houses that the tile and grout was just cleaned and you would never know it! I can tell you that I have been to school for it and why most companies do not do as good of a job. So many corners can be cut but I will not do that to you. There are many steps in the process to cleaning tile. A lot of the larger companies which have a lot of turn over with their employees will not allow them to use for example the acid wash on the floor because if you use it on the wrong floor or you get it on the appliances you own them!! It will etch the finish and ruin them so they don’t allow their employees the advantage of this step in the cleaning. As the only employee of my company there is no turn over and I can guaruntee you will love the job! (middle photo alkaline rinse and pressure wash right the completed job) see for yourself there are no smoke and mirrors here just quality work.
