Established in 1971, Westminster Academy is a Christian school affiliated with Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, providing education to students in Prekindergarten through 12 grades. It has preprimary, elementary, middle and high school duivisions offering various programs, including college preparatory and credit programs. It offers courses in math, English, fine arts, science, foreign languages and computer technology. The school has choral, band and orchestra programs, and provides various athletic options to the students. The school also provides biblically-based educational and instructional programs. The academy additionally has a library and media center, and also provides student counseling and health services. Westminster Academy, located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is approved by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Florida Council of Independent Schools and Florida Kindergarten Council.
