TaskMaster Construction Inc's. incompetence and lack of supervision at our bathroom renovation. Two toilets were removed in order to install new floor tiles. Upon reinstallation of the two toilets TaskMaster’s never bolted the toilets to the flange below. TaskMaster merely adhered both toilets to the tile with gobs of silicone and left that task as completed. This installation is unacceptable practice and it was no mistake. Any third rate handyman knows that both bolts on each toilet requires attachment with bolts to the flange below in order to avoid movement of the fixture. This was one of many deliberate short cuts taken by TaskMaster. If I wouldn’t of caught this issue, the movement from sitting and/or moisture from the toilet flush would have eventually separated the toilets from the floor causing water damage to the newly installed tile floor and the ceiling below or even worse.

TaskMaster Construction Inc's. incompetence and lack of supervision at our bathroom renovation. Part of our bathroom renovation was to install a new stone shower floor. TaskMaster proceeded to subcontract the tile work including the stone shower floor. With TaskMaster full knowledge but unknown to me at the time, that same tile subcontractor intern subcontracted our work once again to another tile installer that had never worked with TaskMaster in the past. The results of shoddy workmanship, uneven surface and grout discoloration are evident in the photos attached. Instead of TaskMaster admitting of subpar workmanship by their subcontractors and agreeing to remove and replace the stone shower floor from the beginning TaskMaster took short cut remedies that they thought would improve the condition.

Future TaskMaster client should be aware of our experience.
