        Peloton Cycles opened in Loveland in 1993. Founder and owner Robin Torres started the Colorado bike shop out of a love for all things cycling and a desire to learn as much as possible about the bicycle business. Looking to leave cold and windy Wyoming, Torres discovered that the perfect location for Peloton Cycles wasn't California, but just down the road a bit in Northern Colorado, where the weather was 10-15 degrees warmer and Loveland cycling lovers would welcome them with open arms. Commitment to each customer's cycling experience and an emphasis on quality created a healthy business, and when it was time to expand, Peloton Cycles opened an additional location: a Specialized concept store in Fort Collins in 2008.
