Horrible HORRIBLE Work, Unprofessional

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE. Smiling, friendly, customer service with absolutely no professionalism or mechanical ability. Last winter, I had my car serviced there after sliding on some ice and damaging the front quarter panel and wheel well. The damage was not entirely that extensive, but they pushed the quote to the absolute maximum (before being declared totaled) because the insurance company was paying for it. Well, whatever - that's probably how other dishonest body shops do business too. Anyway, you'd expect your car to be sitting pretty nice after $9,000 worth of repairs. However, not only did it take way longer than what was quoted (over a month), they let me drive it off the lot with my 1 year old daughter in the back with NO POWER STEERING. Not only that, but they got grease on my interior and didn't even wash any of the exterior to match the replacement parts. So, it looked awful. A week later, they had the power steering fixed. Awesome. Later, I realized that they had kept the lug nut key after using it, so I contacted them to get it back. We made arrangements to drop it off, it never happened - we both forgot about it. I called them again and according to them it's my problem now since it's been so long - even though THEY were the one that forgot to give it back. Now this $25 inconvenience has pushed me far enough to tell whoever's reading this to FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. The front office is nice, but the people doing the real work are idiots.

New Ownership=Terrible Service

I took my 5 week old Yukon XL to Import after it was destroyed by hail. Having used the shop before, I thought it was a good choice. After picking up the car, then returning it because there were issues with the paint, clear mask, headliner, bumper, and door jam seal, I questioned their quality control. When I picked it up the second time and complained that the clear mask and paint hadn't been fixed, I was told I was focusing too much on the details and then was actually accused of ripping the seal and bringing it in for them to fix. Matt actually argued and talked over me saying that they did not damage the bumper and that on a $13,000 job I should expect there to be a few issues. He also said that I just forgot about the damaged paint and they would not take responsibility for it. Pretty sure I would remember six black gouges in a diamond white bumper. Bottom line: This shop has gone downhill under its new ownership. There are plenty of other auto body shops in Fort Collins that are sure to provide better customer service and not return your vehicle with more damage than when it was dropped off.

AWSOME!!!!

I just had my brand new 2012 Audi with LOTS of hail damage from Cheyenne repaired. UNBELIEVABLE the car looks like it did when I bought it just a few months ago. The customer service was awesome, they kept me informed and made me feel from the get go that my car was going to be just fine. They handled all the information my insurance company needed and made me feel like a very valuable customer. Pete and his crew did a fabulous job. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Outstanding

Absolutely outstanding service and repair on my car. I definitely recommend this auto shop to anyone. I took my car in to fix damage done to the front on my car. I was able to receive a loaner car for the entire time my car was being fixed. I received updates on the status of my car and the customer service was uncomparable to what I had expected. Employees were professional and very helpful. I will be returning to Import Auto if I ever need work done on my car again.
