For all of those who've fairly, disrespectfully critiqued my parent's nail salon, I'm truly sorry for your bad experiences. For starters, my parents have little to no experience in the English etiquette as they're unfamiliar with the country's etiquette. So words like "What you want" or "Do you need something", is not them trying to be rude, they just don't know how to pronounce proper words like "Can I help you", "How may I help you today". So service-wise, it's not the greatest, however I hope you understand the reason why they may sound disrespectful, but in reality, they have perfect etiquette in their native language. They'd always tell me to always say Mr. or Mrs. anytime I greet someone and I feel like this gives a difference between their manners in English and Vietnamese.
For the way my parents manicure or pedicure your nails, it's unfortunately out of my reach to teach them the proper way to polish the customer's nails. My mother is a narcissist and refuses the change the ways of manicuring and pedicuring nails. Anytime I make a suggestion, it's instantly considered invalid and always starts a fight because my mom hates being in the wrong, changing, or even blamed, because that's how she is. Everyone who works at the shop gave up on the idea of change, unless my mother continues to work there, not much will change. So if you don't like the outcome of your nails, blame my mom.
For how the place looks, I'm very sorry for how it looks as it's somewhat unappealing to the American culture as it's not "modern' as others hope. This however, is considered very appealing in Vietnam and my mom tends to think that there's nothing wrong about the shop. So once again, sorry for the poor interior.

I got my nails (gel polish; French manicure) done on Wednesday and noticed a lifting of my polish on Thursday. I went in for a repair and the original nail technician was not there. A male with a bad attitude was to assist me and when I gave him my hand, he told me to relax and I told him that I was very relaxed and not upset about anything. He did not address the lifting of the polish by removing the original polish; he only applied more white tip polish and an overlay of clear coat. This was at 10:00 this morning and I am typing this at 10:05pm!!! Unprofessional, rude, discourteous, and incompetent.

Came in and service by Cindy, She was doing mine and other people at the same time, sloppy and unprofessional work, When I asked she respond that they don't carry top coat and She seems like does not understand English well. Store is dirty and the worst is my nails are lifted and chipped within 4 days of service. This is the WORST nail shop in Forest, MS.
