Lovely Nails

I visited last weekend on Saturday from 2.5 hours away as I travel for work. I got a pedi with gel polish, a full set of pink and white nails, and an eyebrow wax. I was satisfied, at first, with the work. However, not even 3 days later, one of the pink and white nails chips and the gel polish on my big toe chips. At this point I’m in Charleston SC and cannot return to the shop. I call a few times and nobody answers. So I got to a local nail salon to have it repaired. And then today, another different nail chips exactly the same way as the other one. So I call the shop again. Someone answers and I explain what’s happened. He proceeds to tell me to come in to see “what I did to my nail”. And proceeds to offer a “discount for repair”. I explained numerous times why that wasn’t going to happen. I live almost 3 hours away and all I’m asking for is enough of a refund to cover me having to get both nails repaired. The whole reason I get pink and white nails is because they are NOT SUPPOSED TO CHIP LIKE THIS! but instead of doing the right thing, I was laughed at and hung up on. That action was unacceptable when a customer spends over $100 with you. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as SCs Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation.
