Genesee County Animal Control

I recently adopted Ryan he came chiped and fixed. Also his first shots. I love that in its self. Totally happy with adoption process. I love my dog!!

This place is disgusting and the director is a completely unprofessional liar that intentionally keeps dogs from their owners as long as possible to get as much money as possible.

who ever runs this place needs to be FIRED !!!! what a joke ya cant call there and they dont answer E Mails this place is pittiful period !!!!

Since the new Director Paul and new Deputy Director Renee have taken over, many positive things are happening for the animals at the shelter. The volunteer base is strong and are also helping move things in the right direction. Funding is still not quite there so this makes progress a bit slow. I am confident that once the building is re modeled and the HVAC system is overhauled the environment will be just as good if not better than the better shelters...

I recently brought a female cat in. I filled out a form with all of her information. Her name I gave her is P-PICKER but they continue to confuse her by calling her ANGIE. Now why would they do this when i filled out the proper form and someone already asked me on their facebook page if i was the one who brought her in and asked if i filled out the form? all they are doing is confusing her. I had her for 3 years now come off it people,

As a tax payer I am appalled that animal control would not come out and remove a wild cat, that was going after my husband, from my property. Instead, I am expected to spend money to buy their equipment, catch it myself and take it to them. Isn't that what my taxes are paying for?
