        Awesome staff!

        Every time I go into this place the people are so friendly. I've even gotten a chance to meet Marlene at the Federal Way location. I just wish that they had a Puyallup location!

        Marlene's is my favorite store in Federal Way. I've been going to that store since i can remember. Recently i took on a new lifestyle and became vegan. It was so easy because Marlene's has stuff for everyone. I've always enjoyed their food, vegan or not. I also take as many people as possible there and so far I've never had anyone say they don't enjoy their meals. However it doesn't stop there! I get as many household products there as possible. Talk about great shampoos, body washes, hair dyes, everything. My favorite product would have to be the henna kits though. They always have plenty of those. When I need groceries, a homemade meal, and toiletries, I always go to Marlene's!

        The best choice in the South Sound for organic & health food

        Marlene's Natural Foods Stores aren't very big - but their little cafes are some of the best choices for vegetarian fare in the South Sound - an area that doesn't have a lot of vegetarian choices. Great bakery with nice vegan choices as well.

        Founded in 1976, Marlene s Market & Deli, formerly known as Federal Way Health Foods, is a family owned and operated natural food store. It maintains operations in Federal Way and Tacoma in Washington. The store supplies a selection of organic produce, whole grocery food items, supplements and natural body care products. It conducts lectures related to acupuncture and physical deterioration and raw and living foods for beginners. Marlene s Market & Deli also organizes a foot massage session and cooking classes. It features products from the Blue Sky, Imagine, Kettle foods, Gold Rush and Health Valley brands. The store operates through grocery, bulk, organically grown produce, supplements, housewares, books, gluten-free products, baby and child, and health and beauty aids departments. In addition, its deli department features a salad bar. Marlene s Market & Deli has been recognized as one of the top 10 health food stores in the United States by the Health Food Business magazine.
