Elite Cleaners

I am begging people to NOT use Elite Cleaners until they figure out how to truly handle their Customer Service department. Stick with me on this story - it's in three acts.



My wife used Elite for the first time several weeks ago (May, 2011) due to a coupon she found in the paper. Prior to this, we'd used Ozark Cleaners.



Inventory sent to Elite:

1.) One shirt that needed two buttons replaced

2.) One tie that needed a small stain removed

3.) Two brand new - worn once - dress shirts with small spots on them.



Here's what happened to each item:

1.) A week later, I was flying to the west coast for a meeting, looked down, and one of the new buttons was already missing. Once I got off the plane, I looked down and the other was barely hanging on by a thread.



2.) I took the tie out of the plastic the morning of the meeting and it hadn't been touched! The "Here's The Stain" sticker was still attached.



3.) HERE'S THE KICKER: When I gave Elite the two dress shirts, they put a rectangular "Here's The Stain" sticker on each around the mid-torso region. Once I got the shirts back, there were two identical rectangular shiny stains (both shirts are black) on each shirt around the mid-torso area. No big deal, I called Elite, they apologized profusely and said they'd re-do the tie, buttons and shirts. Cool! That's great customer service.



The tie came back worse than I sent it to them. The buttons seem to be holding on (although it hasn't been worn yet), and the shirts still have two rectangular spots on them.



I'm the nicest guy in the world and I never get upset. I asked them to take another shot at cleaning them and they refused saying, "Because the stains are in the same spot, it can't be from something Elite Cleaners caused."

Huh? I WATCHED them put the stickers on the shirts!!!! I have a sticker and it's the SAME SIZE AS THE STAIN.



Between the tie, buttons and shirts, I've now gone to Elite five times. Each time, it seemed like their attitude got more lackadaisical and negative. I dealt with the same woman three times and the final time she was down right ugly.



I'm the nicest guy in the world and through this entire episode, I've been polite, patient and understanding (ok, trying to be understanding).



Finally today, they gave me the final "NO-GO" on my brand new $80 shirts.



I trust Elite will read this. I trust you and your team will learn a lesson. I promise you that the customer is NOT always right - it this case you are all wrong.

BTW: We were very happy with Ozark Cleaners.

I recently moved to Northwest Arkansas and was having trouble finding a good dry cleaners. I was referred to Elite by a friend and have been very pleased. My clothes always look great and they have very friendly service. Highly recommend.

When i went to elite cleaners. i just needed to get a blanket that i just bought washed. the people were very rude to me. when they gave it back it had stuffing coming out. the manager Ryan Swonger was very rude didnt want to give me the money that it cost. if ur looking for a good dry cleaning place go to today cleaners.
