Just bought a boat from Kara at Captain O’Connell. She and Captain Dan did a great job making sure everything went well with the boat. Their mechanic Rene is top notch too! They are old school which is great in my book. All fantastic people there. I would definitely recommend them!

"Home sweet home" for your boating needs! I've kept my boat at O' Connell's for the past 7 years, and the care and attention received exceeded my expectations. Receptive to my concerns, Cap't Dan & Kara are very quick to respond. They winterized her, stored her, tuned her up, repaired her, and launched her. Their fees are reasonable & their service is complete. Their property and your boat is very secure at O'Connell's. Recently, I sold my boat and they were extremely professional & helpful with the process. For all your boating needs, I highly recommend this family boat yard & marina. Don't look any further.... simply entrust them. Next best thing to family!

My husband and I went to them to buy a boat they had for sale. It looked exactly as portrayed, ran great, surveyed great. Kara threw in the short haul for free and Capt. Dan was wonderful on the sea trial. We look forward to a long lasting relationship with O'Connell's. No one in customer service can please everyone!!!! Smile and be happy!

They are the hardest working people I know. They bend over backwards to help everyone. Dennis B--I know you and don't know how you can sleep at night posting that b.s. I will never keep my boat anywhere else.

They do not stand behind there work. They promised me that my boat would be ready to pick up and 2 months later it still was not ready. They also told me they were going to do work to boat and nothing was done. Dan & Kara should be ashamed of they way they handled this situation. STAY AWAY !

Super great place! These people work HARD! Fingers dirty, sweat, the whole bit. I had a boat winterized and a part broke during the winter. They made good on it! The part came in 3 days later and it was done with a smile. Things happen, Especially with boats, thats why I'm glad there is a real business with old fashioned work ethics in place.

if your even thinking about buying a boat TRUST ME STAY AWAY !!!!!! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIANCE EVER KARA AND HER FATHER WILL COME OFF AS NICE PEOPLE .. BUT AGAIN DONT SAY I DID NOT WARN YOU THEY JUST COULD FLAT OUT CARE LESS ABOUT DOING THE RIGHT THING IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS EMAIL ME AND ILL GIVE YOU THE ACTUAL DETAILS IM NOT A HARD TO PLEASE BUYER AND IM NOT OVERLY PICKY BUT THIS PLACE IS JUST THE WORST AND FRANKLY I WILL GO OUT OF MY WAY TO LET PEOPLE KNOW .. KARA S LACK OF FOLLOWUP AND HER I JUST DONT CARE ATTITUDE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED AND THE BOAT THAT I WANTED TO BUY ACCORDING TO HER WAS A DIAMOND 3 SEA TRIALS LATER IT STILL DID NOT RUN IMAGINE BREAKING DOWN ON A SEA TRIAL WITH 25000 IN YOUR POCKET AND THEN WAITING 8 HOURS TO GET A MECHANIC WHO COULD NOT FIX IT AND SHE LET ME KNOW MAYBE IN 2 WEEKS IT WILL BE READY ...BUT THE WORST IS SHE HAD 8 WEEKS WITH A 2000 DEPOSIT TO GET IT READY IM SERIOUS JUST AWFUL STAY AWAY !!
