Frederick's Repair Service

I bought a brand new Stihl weed eater from there and the trimmer head cracked the first time I used it. I took it back to Frederick's and the owner asked me (with an accusatory tone in his voice) what I was using it on, after I told him I had only been cutting grass he begrudgingly replaced the part. The next time I attempted to use the weed eater it wouldn't even start I took it back and was told I would be called the next day, one week later I went back and this time the owner said that he called and left a message 3 days ago (he called but left absolutely no message). to make a long story short he charged me $31.00 because the engine was "flooded" and that wasn't covered by the warranty. Bottom line spend your money elsewhere because this scammer doesn't deserve it.

I cannot recommend this place. It is neither service nor customer-oriented. Takes its customers for granted. The personnel and proprietor have an arrogant attitude, and are not detail-oriented, careful or diligent.



This is a service business, and there are plenty of other options for this type of service.



As a lady, I will neither recommend nor frequent this place ever again.



I would give it 0 = ZERO stars, but this webpage required me to click on at least one! It doesn't deserve the stars.



You can't put lipstick on a pig, and you can be the best damn small engine repairman in the world, but never deserve a job if you have an attitude and are disrespectful to your customers.

I have had repairs made to string trimmers, lawn mowers and have purchased an Echo trimmer from this outfit. I have been dealing with them for more than 20 years. They can be trusted.
