        Overall

        I am a disabled Vet and Marty has been doing our yard for about 5 years. He is a hard worker, gets the details done and all with a smile. There are a couple times he did a extra job, and I felt he charged too much... I paid for it anyway, it was my bad for not getting a quote from him first. Since then, I have always got a quote and he still does my work; he will negotiate. I like him, my wife loves his work and his punctuality. I rate him 9 stars, to give him back the 4 he lost from the previous review.....

        Marty will do extra unauthoriz...

        Marty will do extra unauthorized work and expect to be paid for it. He was hired to mow our front lawn (only) for a period of 5 weeks while we traveled. He came in and pruned all our shrubbery and Japanese maples. He destroyed what we were trying to accomplish. We have our regular trimmer, he just doesn't mow lawns. We felt totally violated. We feel he did this to extract more money out of a simple job. Doesn't really deserve one star.
