Edgewater Home Furnishings

I have been buying from Edgewater Home Furnishings for the last 10 years--both for my office as well as my home. I would never buy anywhere else, they are simply the best and the store is so beautiful, I'm afraid to go back at times because I always find yet "one more thing" that is just the right piece to add to my home. Last year we purchased a second home and consulted them again for design services as well as furnishing practically every room. From mattresses to accent pieces. I LOVE my flexsteel sofas (I now have two) and I also selected and ordered custom designed furnishings for both my home and my office--so easy and fun with their help! These guys stand behind everything. They have always gone above and beyond. I send my family and all my clients there--because I know they will receive the same amazing treatment I get every time. I purchased a $1000.00 mattress with a 10 year warranty. They make you buy a$100.00 mattress protector for the warranty. Less than one year later the mattress is obviously a faulty product. Sent them all the warranty info back in October...five months later still dealing with horrible sleeps on a piece of garbage. Manufacturer says they have dealt with the store and Edgewater says dealing with the manufacturer. Their warranties are a JOKE, buy from somewhere else.

Stay away from Edgewater Furniture if you want customer service and quality furniture. I purchased over $4000 worth of living room furniture a little over 3 years ago and one of the items was a $900 chair and ottoman which I upgraded the fabric on. The fabric has since worn, stretched, tore, and faded even though this chair has received little use and is in a room with little natural light. When I asked what could be done I was told that the fabric has a one year warranty and this is my problem. The fabric has been discontinued by FlexSteel probably due to its poor performance. I have other furniture from Lazy Boy and Norwalk that is over 10 years and looks like new. Edgewater/FlexSteel quality is horrible and their customer service is even worse.
