Skylight Repair/Replacement

New Construction
Work on this project includes demolition of structures, pavements, piping and other improvements to allow new construction; relocation of the plant effluent outfall pipe and de-chlorination vault; construction of two (2) aeration basins, diffusers, air and process piping; construction of a steel frame and masonry building to house process blowers, chemical storage and feed systems, HVAC and electrical equipment; construction of process flow splitter boxes for aeration basins and secondary clarifiers including associated process piping modifications; replacement of RAS and WAS pumps in two pump stations; piping and structure modifications to peak flow storage system; and all associated site work, piping, electrical and instrumentation work.
Demolition
This project primarily consists of the following: Installation of bypass pumping at Wastewater Treatment Facility with necessary bypass piping, demolition, and removal of two (2) existing Wastewater Lagoon Liner, removal of existing Geotextile Fabric and Under-Liner Ventilation Tubing and miscellaneous hardware. Installation of two (2) New 60 Mil HDPE Liner +/- 38,900 SY, removal and replacement of existing Baffle Curtain, pumping of existing sludge to a Belt Press for solid separation, disposal of sludge in approved landfill is required and all other appurtenances associated with a complete installation.

Fencing
This project primarily consists of the following: renovations to an existing Wastewater Treatment Plant at the Elkmont Campground. Work includes fencing, erosion control, electrical, painting, remove and replace Palram Sunsky Skylights, remove and replace roof support post as necessary, HDPE/DIP/SST Piping, Valves, Precast Influent Manhole, replacement of Influent Fine Screen, submerged attached growth biological treatment system by DeNora Water Technologies, Back Wash Weir, Magnesium Hydroxide Metering pumps, Magnesium Hydroxide Drum, Aeration Blowers, Blower Control Panel, Backwash Pumps w/VFD’s, Return Pumps w/VFD’s, UV System, Safe T Covers, Effluent Pumps, Effluent Transfer Pump, Effluent Holding Tank Pump, Effluent Pump Control Panel w/VFD’s and Effluent Pump Tower, Hatches and Instrumentation.
Gate Replacement/Installation
Asphalt Paving
The principal features of the work to be performed include. Site grading and asphalt paving. Demolition of electrical, piping, mechanical surface aeration rotors, and electrical cable. Installation of a new manual bar screen in the primary clarifier by-pass channel. Construction of a new blower facility including four (4) new blowers and associated air piping, fittings, and valves. Renovation of existing aeration tanks, including installation of new diffused air piping and diffusers, installation of eight (8) submersible mixers access and support platforms, improvements to the existing elevated basin walkways, and baffle wall modifications. Modification to the existing junction structure including replacement of the existing rotating weir assemblies with four (4) new plastic weirs, four(4) new modulating weir gates, and bypass sluice gates. Construction and installation of equipment and building pads, (1) 3,000kW diesel generator system with fuel tank in a prefabricated enclosure, pre-manufactured electrical control buildings (Blower Electrical Control Building, Main Electrical Control Building), 27kV Class Switchgear, 35kV Class medium voltage cable replacement, low voltage electrical, electrical equipment and controls, including PLC, conduits, wiring, junction boxes and grounding. Installation and operation of temporary aerators and temporary by-pass pumping.

Water and wastewater pump station construction represents a significant portion of Haren Construction’s work. Our management team has years of experience and is cognizant of all aspects of dewatering, safety, shoring, excavation, as well as influent/effluent diversions required for completion of successful pump station construction and renovation projects.
