Skowron Eye Care

I have been a patient of Dr. Skowron's for nearly 20 years. My vision has changed quite a bit over the years and Dr. Skowron has always made sure I am comfortable with new prescriptions - glasses and contacts. I now bring my children to his office for their yearly checkups! Highly recommend Skowron Eye Care.

Thirty Five years of excellent service. I've been a patient of Dr Skowron's practice for many years --just about 35! They've taken me from glasses, to contacts and most recently cataract surgery. A wonderful, caring group of professionals! Hats off to Dr Skowron, Barbara and Diane and extended team.

I don't understand some of the reviews below. In the several years that I have been going to Dr. Skowron I have experienced nothing less than outstanding professionalism By Dr Skowron as well as his staff. He's always taken the time to do a complete and thorough exam and what I like best is that he explains all of my options in layman’s terms so that I can understand and make an informed choice.

I would certainly recommend this office to anyone.

I would highly recommend Dr. Skowron and Skowron Eye Care to anyone in need of eye care assistance. A few years ago I had an emergency situation develop, which was found to be a detached retina. Dr. Skowron had me come to his office immediately (it was after hours) to diagnose and address the issue following my incident. He has proven to me that he is someone I can trust for all of my eye care needs.

My husband and I go to Skowron Eye Care. My husband has been seeing Dr. Skowron for many years and he really likes him. I have been seeing Dr. John since last year and really like her. I had LASIK surgery this past January and have been having my follow up appointments with her since. She is extremely nice and definitely seems to care about my time and visits. I almost never have to wait more than 5 minutes.



As far as the bad reviews about Dr. Skowron...I did see him one time when I was considering getting LASIK done. I did feel that he was rushed and sorta comes off pushy to get the LASIK. But I am very glad I did it. I do prefer Dr. John over him.



The front staff and nurses are so nice too! Very professional team.

Must say that dr skowron does not seem to care about his patients, at least thats my opinion. It seems as if he is all about cramming as many people into a day to make money. As stated in a few of the other reviews I as well felt rushed. I find his office to be very expensive. The office is very nice and its nice to be able to have expensive equiptment for the patients but thats not the most important thing. I would rather have a doctor take their time and feel like I'm getting a good thorough exam.

A friend of mine saw Dr Kerry John and said she was very good, thorough and friendly. If I decide to go back to this office I will see her and not Dr Skowron.

My 2 star rating is mostly for the nice office and not Dr Skowron

I was very impressed with Dr. John. She was very professional and thorough, yet warm and friendly made me feel very comfortable, she took her time and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I had to have a few test run too, but my experience was totally the opposite. Even though they seemed to be quite busy everyone that I dealt with was very pleasant. I will definitely be back for my next exam and my appointment will definitely be with Dr. John.

I had the same thing happen to me as well. Just seemed like the Dr was in a hurry and did not have a good "chair side manor". I felt as if he was brushing me off, not very personable at all. I also feel the girl who did the tests prior to me seeing the Dr (I think her name was Terry) was very rude, did'nt smile no personality at all.She also appeared that it was a bother to have to do it.

This was my first visit here and will probably be my last.

First,I waited for over 45 minutes just to see Dr Skowron. After I was put in a room the Dr seemed very rushed. The office seemed crowded and they seemed to have booked to many patients at one time. The dr kept leaving the room and then having a staff member come and run tests on me really not sure why?? He said it was routine After tests were completed I sat and waited for the dr to come back in. He said ok things look fine and that was it. I felt very rushed and also that I was given tests I did not need. I would not go back here I got stuck paying for most of tests that insurance would not pick up.
