Frigidaire recommended these guys to come out and repair my fridge. Mind you that it was only 2 months old at the time. They came out and looked at the fridge, said it needs a part. No biggie, I'm in the overhead service industry and understand that all parts can't be stocked on service trucks. So we waited about 1 week they came out spent about an hour fiddling around with the fridge. The guy was swearing under his breath the whole time. Only to tell me that the circuit board was fried. Ok mis diagnosis. I'm a little upset. But hey get the right part this time and fix it. It's been about 3 weeks no call nothing from them. I've called about 3 times within the 3 week period. Their response is we're waiting on the part. So I finally get fed up. I go in to do the repair myself and to my surprise everything is taken apart behind the access panel. Compressor is unmounted from its base, all of the wires are disconnected theres even a part missing off of the compressor itself. The service tech even cut one of the ground wires. I highly suggest that you seek professional appliance repair elsewhere. This is highly unacceptable by all means. I couldn't imagine what his boss would say if he knew the condition he left the fridge in.

while the technicians themselves are capable, working with them involves dealing with an office that changes things on you without notice and instead of explaining things spends their time speaking down to you.

I've used D&S for more than 25 years to service laundry equipment in an 8-unit condo building in Chicago. Appointments can be made quickly, and the techs don't waste time on service calls. I think they're great. Equipment costs can be high, but it's always very good quality.
