I have purchased two JD mowers from this company in the last 6 years. The first one stopped working after 3 years and I was told that it threw a rod or some other fatal injury. It was out of warranty so I took their word for it and purchased a new mower similar to the one I had, and never asked for my broken mower back.



Now again 3 years later I send my mower in for a routine tune up and am told that I now have a blown head gasket. It seems odd because the mower worked fine last year and no issues were noted before it went in. No effort was made to call JD on my behalf to try to help with this repair.



These mowers are not cheap and should not need major repairs or replacement after only 3 years. I did not feel valued as a customer by the way this was handled. After purchasing two mowers from them I would have expected they would at least try to get JD to help with the repair or offer me some sort of deal on labor since they were tuning up the mower anyway.



There was no effort made to help me at all except to offer to repair the machine at full cost, or do the repair and forget about doing the tune up. The whole thing made me wonder if I should have trusted them when they told me my previous mower was broken beyond repair. I am now in the market for a new mower, but because of the way I was treated I will never buy another from this company, nor will I buy another John Deere Mower.
