Everyone needs to drive a car and have a driverâ€™s license. Traffic offenses can sometimes result in suspension of driving privileges and in many instances points and traffic citations can substantially increase insurance premiums. Traffic tickets are a source of revenue for government entities, so some are quite aggressive in writing tickets. In many circumstances, traffic citations can be dismissed, or points reduced. Some charges do not in fact constitute violations.
