Wall to Wall Carpet One Floor & Home

We are in the middle of a nightmare scenario with this company. Having been told the install would take 2-3 days, we're now on day 12 with yet another promise that the installer will be here....tomorrow. Carpet One didn't order enough flooring for the job, didn't measure the stair bullnose accurately, didn't order transition pieces, so had to place new orders. Installer left 10 days ago without simply replacing base boards so we could move back into the rooms, and now refuses to return until all materials are in so he doesn't have to make an extra trip and "lose money," despite having arrived at 1:30pm on the first install day due to a personal problem. So we're 12 days without access to belongings that we planned to be without for only 3 days. Communication is awful, there's no accountability, and we're out a lot of money for dog day care on days they didn't show up, not to mention rearranged schedules, missed work, rescheduled medical appts. We chose Carpet One because they had a 3-year 0% offer, so they have already been paid, and our 2nd monthly payment to Synchrony is due next week, while we still don't have a floor finished. Worst of all? We have family coming for Christmas, but guest room is piled high with stuff from the unfinished rooms and we've not been able to decorate. We've used many flooring companies over the years, and we know this is not typical. From the reviews, it looks like it's not typical for Carpet One, either, but this is our experience. Buyer beware.
