General Info

We offer a large assortment of home types. We offer single story homes with or without basements, two stories with or without basements, two stories with master suites on the first floor or second floor. Styles can be Cape Cods, Georgian, Farmhouse, Victorian and the list goes on. Our customers may bring their own style to us and we can offer guidance to get their dream homes started. For custom homes our work is typically handled by building on a piece of property the client owns, property in our inventory or property to be purchased through a client’s construction loan. We will gladly price homes based on construction prints or meet with your architect to help get your home designed to your needs. We are not a business to offer limited ideas or only push certain plans or products. We try to stay up to date with popular trends and products while keeping my "old school" ways open as well. We want our customer’s hands on so that the feel of their home as they first walk into it is filled with the experience and pride of their own design. We are simply the means to get it built for them to enjoy. At Mawyer Homes we try to stay involved with the customer as much as possible. We want the customer to know exactly what they are paying for and even get a little hands on in certain construction phases. We like to work with a very small group of subcontractors because we think that having a friendship based relationship with them is key to understanding how they prefer to do their job and how that will blend with how we want the job completed. We only deal with subcontractors that are licensed and insured to ensure a safe work environment along with a professional finished result. Lastly, as we start new projects we try to keep as much of the work we do "in house". We will be there the first day that corner points are placed on the property to begin excavation and will install that last piece of hardware so that you can move in. We strive for on the job foremen to watch over each phase and to be there to answer any questions. We don't keep our most important guys running on the road all day from job to job because answers and leadership cannot be dealt with if they are not around. We look forward to helping you achieve your goals and will make sure that the process is as easy as possible.
