Heart of Eagle River Medical Clinic

I was an out of town visitor in Alaska in December 2019.
This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with urgent care clinics .
Professional and yet warm welcoming smile from receptionist . Fast check In, no waiting time And I was in care of Megan - nurse . She is delightful , polite , respectful , knowledgable , sharp , fast and sweet in her approach .
Then PA-C Frederick G.May walked in and brightened up room with a smile . It was a pleasure to meet Frederick . Another exceptional professional and a fabulous human being .
I left clinic with a warm heart and feeling well taken care of.

Incredibly disappointed in this place. Calling around to different walk in clinics who all had 1 hour waits this place said 30 minutes. I waited for 1 hour and 10 minutes was then placed into a waiting room and contuined to wait for another 40 minutes. The other to dr. Offices in Eagle River are so much more efficient. Don't waste your time at this clinic. They are inefficient and have no idea what is happening, clearly they weren't communicating enough to know the wait time or let me know what was going on while waiting. A complete waste of my day that ended in pure frustration. Never will I come back and I will make sure I tell anyone who asks not to go here.
