Primary Care
It is important to understand that with proper diagnosis and intervention, most conditions that fall under this category of disorders can be improved or eliminated with intervention. Collaboration between your primary care physician (PCP) Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist (ENT) or neurologist, along with your physical therapist can be highly effective in addressing these issues, and help you regain a better quality of life.

Neurological conditions may be chronic in nature or the result of a sudden, acute onset – in either scenario, your movement and quality of life are challenged. No matter the cause, working with a team of rehabilitation professionals that will prioritize your recovery is essential. Conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, and Peripheral Neuropathy are examples that can benefit from physical and occupational therapy and require one-on-one attention. It is important to choose a provider that understands your impairments and can focus on the aspects that matter the most to YOU. Recovery and management of neurological conditions can be difficult. Chemotherapy
“I’d like to share a bit of positive feedback on CPT-Carbondale and my situation which is different from most. I’ve received excellent physical therapy and occupational therapy post total knee replacement. Due to long term side effects of chemotherapy, the therapists worked on multiple conditions. I’ve now completed PT and my activities of daily living goals have been met. I will continue with OT for lymphedema conditions. It is hard to find words to say just how excellent I’ve been treated. The CPT team has made me feel safe, functional, and so comfortable as we worked so hard. Thank you all!”

Knee Replacement
