My children have been cared for by Dundalk Peds for over 8 years, and I highly recommend this practice, especially now that they moved to a much larger, modern facility. I particularly appreciate the walk-in sick-call Saturday hours, and if you call to speak to a doctor, the doctor calls back the same day. The other poor reviews seemed based on personal instances that don't actually reflect how well run this practice is and how excellent the doctors are.

Overall

I have never had issues with this office, in fact I have taken all three of my children here for the past ten years. Recently my three year old became sick. We were back and fourth to the doctors every other week - five times within two months and seen three different doctors. Every visit the doctors gave me the run around, never prescribing any medication or offering testing or anything. Finally my child became so ill that I had to take her to the ER. She had pneumonia. It was so bad that she was hospitalized. This could have been avoided if just one of the doctors had sent her for a single chest X-ray. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Overall

I would NOT under any circumstances, recommend this pediatric association. Kara Franz, the "doctor" that we saw has no idea what she is doing. We missed an appointment and were billed, even though the missed appt was unavoidable. The bill was then sent to collections. She is more concerned with making money, at all costs, than she is with helping sick children. She kept blowing off our concerns about my child's illness and when I went somewhere else, found out that my concerns were accurate and my child was VERY SICK. I work in an office and when our clients cannot make the appt we do not bill them. WHAT A RACKET! This is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and I cannot understand how someone or some practice could run their business in such a callus way. What a shame.

I wouldn't recommend this part...

I wouldn't recommend this particular office to anyone. My son, who has asthma and other health issue was termed from them. They said we missed to many appointments. Which I know is incorrect because I am vigilant concerning my child's health. We only missed one and I had rescheduled another 2 days prior. Also, their waiting room is too small and often ppl had to stand while waiting for their child to see the Dr. There is not a separate waiting room for sick children, which we all know there should be. The parking is insufficient. I can say one good thing about them. Dr. Kara Franz is great and seems to be very compassionate and a great Doctor. I wish she were somewhere else. The front office is very unprofessional and talk about their personal lives with each other while they are supposed to be making appointments, or other patient oriented jobs. Maybe that's why so many people are unsatisfied with them or getting incorrect appointment times. I was warned before I took my child there, now I know from personal experience. BOO for Dundalk Pediatrics.......

I highly recommend not to take...

I highly recommend not to take your child to this doctors office. If you are 15 minutes late for your appointment, you will be turned away. I have been turned away twice within a two year period and had to take my daughter to the emergency room. The irony of it all is you will be waiting for 15 minutes or more. I'm sure insurance companys love how Dundalk Pediatric Assoc waste money and their customers time and GAS. I will be changing my daughter's doctor.

The physcians are very good. ...

The physcians are very good. However, getting an appointment is difficult if you're child needs to be seen that day. The front desk triages the calls, and they determine if you get seen. They are a busy practise, so they double up on appointments. I have been told I did not an appointment on two occasions. Luckily, I had my appointment cards, so I was not charged. However, I had to come another day. My schedule is not very flexable. The front deck triage is not all that great. I have found another pediatrican.
