Shipwreck Cove Waterpark

I took my kids here the day it opened and we were very please with the facility. It's small, but that seems to add to the "local" feel (I believe the city of Duncan built it). There are 2 slides and a variety of other water activities. There is also a snack area where you can buy a surprisingly large variety of things, like pizza and chicken sandwiches. There is also an area where you can buy souvenirs and sunscreen, and pick up local information, like a visitor's center. The lifeguard staff was very friendly and alert. We spoke to someone who appeared to be a manager, and she said they are considering offering season passes which would be great. I took one star off for lack of shade and the cost ($10 each) but we will be visiting there several times this summer.
