        The day before my scheduled ch...

        The day before my scheduled chimney cleaning, a female employee called to see if it would be okay if the guy came earlier than the appointed time. I said no problem. The scheduled day came and went with nobody showing and no phone call to say what happened. Two days later when I CALLED THEM, they told me the guy was sick and went to the hospital. I would have forgave them had someone had the decency to at least call me to explain.

        The company is incompetent! They tried to install a 6 inch liner on a 5 inch furnace exhaust, but the liner wouldn't fit down the chimney. They then wanted to use a machine to knock material off the inside of the chimney to install the wrong sized liner! Luckily I was wisew enough to have a seconf opinion where I found that Barbati was trying to install the incorrect sized liner and potentially damage my home in the process. They ask for an deposit and I am STILL waiting to recieve over $1000. which this company said it would refund once I pointed out these errors and problems. I DO NOT reccomend Barabati as they are not certifed, and my experience with them has been just terrible. Look elsewhere for a chimney professional!

        do a google search on gino barbati to turn up this convicted felon. don't let him in your home, don't write him a check. there is a reason he can't take credit cards or wait 2 days for payment
