I purchased a Jaguar XJ8 from Car Expo last weekend. Jose and Gus were extremely helpful throughout the purchase process. I am from Canada and this was my first time purchasing a vehicle in California and they were very patient and explained everything in detail, I would again and highly recommend anyone to visit the dealership and purchase a vehicle from Car Expo In Downy, California

I had a great experience! The staff were very laid back, I didn't feel pressured, I liked them so much I even sent my father and sister there to buy their jeeps ! Another PLUS, several months later a nail blew out my tire and Car Expo was able to get me a new one at their cost ! I would recommend Car Expo

I am so glad I came to Car Expo to find a car. I have the worst credit to my name, so I thought it would be impossible for me to find a car. . Thank goodness I went in!! the Salesmen are so helpful. Knowing now I could purchase a car with the help of Car Expo I knew exactly what car I wanted. they didn't have the exact BMW I was looking for. However, within a month they located one and brought it to their dealership. I thought that was very nice of them to help me find the car I've always wanted. I highly recommend Richard for your car buying experience! Let him know that I sent you there and he'll definitely hook you up! I've only had positive experiences with this dealership and certainly hope you do, too!

I like everyone else before me wish I would have seen the reviews before I drove 120 miles to this hole-in-the-wall junk lot. I saw an ad on CL for a yellow jeep wrangler. I saw the carfax and it was clean so I called ahead. I spoke to Alan about the condition as far as scratches, dents and defects. He said "oh yeah we just got it, its pretty much perfect." After I got off work (I work nights) I drove from Coronado to Downey. When I saw it I thought this can't be it! There were dents and scratches all over it! There was even a spot that looked like it was covered up with yellow nail polish! It looked repainted and the front right fender was completely cracked. This is your definition of "Perfect"? I test drove it anyway cause I was already there. The A/C is busted and the seat is ripped. So I try a silver one - broken windshield and the breaks are pulsating and the passenger seat won't lean back or forward. The whole time I'm asking questions and Alan, the sales guy says "I'm not really sure" to EVERYTHING! After the 5th question I stop cause he knows nothing. The test drive consists of driving around the block so you never get out of 3rd gear. That was considered a "good test drive" haha. So I go inside cause I'm pretty good at working a deal. Both jeeps are listed at $18k and I'm thinking I wouldn't pay more than $14 but we'll see what we can do. The sales manager tells me they come as-is and nothing will be fixed or replaced but I can probably get one of my friends to fix the A/C for $60. WHAT?? I asked why he wasn't able to negotiate on the price and he said "well that's my price, you know how valuable jeeps are since you're from Cali and you were raised around them but hey don't worry if you don't want it you can leave. Its still early, someone else will buy it, your just the first people today." They are all Hispanic in and my friend and I are white, I never even paid attention to that detail till he said "you white people can afford it." What the hell? When my friend asked him a question he told him to be quiet for 2 minutes so he could talk. I told the manager immediately to stop talking and asked why he was being so defensive and rude. This is a business you don't need to take everything so personal. That's when he told me if I wanted to negotiate a price I needed to look else where. I told him I looked forward to it and picked up my things and walked out. I have seriously never been so insulted in my life. I was still pleasant but told him I would find a reputable dealer. He said he does so much business he didn't care. Wow if you do that much business you would be able to afford toilet paper in your bathroom!! They had McDonalds napkins for TP haha.



No more than 2 minutes after I got home and walked in the door I get a call on my phone from Downey Ca. Its Alan. Please keep in mind he wrote down my name and phone number 3 different times while I was there. He says "we saw your name on our caller ID and wanted to see if we could help you find what your looking for." Alan...Its me, I was just there with my friend and we walked out. Remember? He said oh yeah... um sorry for calling. I asked if the manager was the owner and surprise surprise he said "I'm not really sure" I just laughed and he hung up on me.

Best car buying experience EVER!! I received a very fair trade in value for Trade and used it as a partial down on a My 2006 Ford Mustang. I could not be more satisfied with the service that I received at Car Expo and would recommend anyone who is considering purchasing a car to definitely start there. Jose was awesome to deal with and the financing was very easy at the same time. Thank you Jose for making the buying process a stress free experience for me. I will refer anyone I know who is looking for a Used car to you !!!

I called at 3pm and asked about. A car. I was told they had it and i could come see it. I mentioned i had a car to trade in and they said they would be interested. I told them id be there at 5pm. When i got there after driving 70 miles, they told me the car i wanted was overheating thats why it was parked off to the side. They also said they wouldnt work with tra. Ins. Wasted alot of gas money and time simply because they werent honest.

this place is a sham I should have known from the moment I stepped on the premesis. Now 90 days later I call to find out why I haven't received any registration that they where to processe something that should have been done we well before the 90 day mark which is when the end of the temporary registration they gave me while on the phone with Jose I ask why they have not done anything in the past 90 days then he gets defensive and starts cursing and yelling at me what kind of a business are they running.Absolutely no follow through

Talk about a complete, utter lack of customer service. The "manager," was this scary looking balded-headed gangster looking guy named John... who glared at me when I walked in as he was eating his lunch. He said he'd "be with you in a minute" while chewing his food. He then proceeded to help some other people... never once asked what I was interested in or even remotely tried to be helpful or considerate... it's in a dirtbag part of town, next to a crummy dive-bar... stay away from this place; the cars are all old, junky, not well-cared for; not waht you'd expect at all. Avoid

The absolute worst service I have ever experienced! Jose, John or whatever name he wants to use to lure you in, should not be a sales rep/owner. We called to find out about a car advertised and he first mentioned the car was great and ready to go. After driving for 45mns we arrived and nobody was around. Other people were there too, and actually asked us if we knew who worked there. We finally walked into the disgusting office, where we found Jose aka John eating and watching tv. We not only lied about the car posted nut he said the car we wanted was sold. We asked about another car for which he said, that car wasn't ready to be sold. Simple, spend your money and time somewhere else. This dealer reeks of bs, just like John/Jose and his filthy crumb filled mouth. Put the tacos down and serve your customers!

DON'T SHOP AT THIS DEALERSHIP!! Rude Employee/Owner? who not only will not

sell the car for the internet autotrader.com price,, but even tacked on a $500 accessory fee to boot! Car advertised for x amount, says "its already sold",,,I locate car on lot thru vin # and now he says "The price advertised is wrong"........At the end says he doesnt care if he ever sells the car because he "enjoys" driving it daily.......BEWARE!!!
