Dwayne's Landscaping

my husband responded to a craiglist ad to work for Dwayne's Landscaping. He met with, Dwayne and was offered a job. He was told he would hired as a contractor, would fill our a 10-99, be reimbursed for gas and paid weekly. He reported to work (about 7 minutes late because Dwayne lied about the distance of the shop.) My husband was left on a job site, alone, unattended for HOURS (he worked a 10hr work day 6:30am-4:45pm) was given no lunch or breaks. My husband was stung by bee's and laughed at when he told him he's allergic to bee's. After Dwayne finally picked him up, Dwayne refused to let him use the car charger to charge his phone to contact me to pick him up. My husband asked for gas money since he was told he'd be provided gas money and also because the location was advertised as a Richmond job and is in fact in doswell, FYI THERE'S A 30 MILE DIFFERENCE. Dwayne handed him $40 cash.



The following day, Dwayne refused to let my husband fill out any paper work (as it wasn't provided the first day) and informed him he will not be paying him as his "$40 was his pay"



Well, Dwayne is not licensed to be spraying. He's not the actual owner and RIPS OFF legitimate "employee's." My husband has over 8yrs experience and found the job after moving here from out of state.



I sure wouldn't want to support a "local" company that rips off "locals" and provides false information about their background, certifications and morals.
