We just had dinner here tonight. I can't say enough about how warm and friendly the host and staff are! We were so kindly and genuinely greeted by everyone, even the manager. The bartender even greeted us as we went by to get to our table. Our waitress, Ashley, was very sweet and did a great job. You won't feel rushed. It's a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly! The crab just puppies are a must try as well. Thank you, Comus Inn, for our wonderful and special meal tonight. Can't wait to come back.

I honestly can't say enough good things about The Comus Inn. I've been eating here for 4 years, never having less than ideal experience so it was a no-brainer to have our wedding here. The location, the staff, the service, and the food were absolutely first rate. Big Thanks to the Jesse, Megan, Lou, and the rest of the staff for a wedding that exceeds all of our expectations.

My husband and I spent a lovely dinner with dear friends at Comus Inn. The Sunrise cocktail and food was delicious. My husband had the trout and I had the steak while our friends had scallops and steak too. Our compliments to the chef.

We went to Comos Inn for our anniversary with family of 6 on Friday night. My husband did the reservation in advance. The food was fantastic. I had one of the best crab cakes that I have ever tried . My husband had the fish of the day, he was very pleased with the taste. Drinks was so good too. The service was perfect. The manger, Lou checked on us several times to make sure that we were enjoying our anniversary celebrations with them. This become one my favorite places to go back again.

We went to the Comus Inn on Sunday evening. One of the most striking aspects of this restaurant is the fantastic view of Sugarloaf mountain and the surrounding countryside. Though the menu is pricey, we found one item in particular that was exceptional. It was a fried green tomato with crab meat plate from the snack menu. The green tomatoes were crisp not greasy and the crab meat was jumbo lump with a nice lemon based dressing. Ashley our server was friendly, efficient ,and even allowed me to substitute a different vegetable for my trout entree. Give this Inn a try!

Went to The Comus Inn on St. Patrick's Day and had one of the specials: Shepherd's Pie which was reasonably priced and full of flavor. Very nice presentation. Rolls were fresh and served with a nice room temperature (thank you) honey butter. My wife had the blue cheese crusted filet which was done to request perfectly. No room for desert. Price was quite affordable with the Groupon we had. Host Jessy and the wait staff were very cordial and seated us at a table with a view of Sugarloaf Mountain. Very enjoyable.

I have dined at Comus Inn several times and each time, I walk away thinking, what an amazing culinary experience! Since each of my experiences at Comus Inn have been amazing, I decided to have my birthday there this year and am SOO happy that I did.

First off, the service is absolutely unbeatable - the staff was incredibly attentive (yet not in an overbearing way) and the servers have always made great suggestions. In fact, every time I have been to Comus Inn, I am impressed with how the serves are so well versed on the menu and are able to give an impeccable presentation about their specials for the evening and make it sound just as appetizing as they truly are! The food is always beautifully presented and the portions are more than what you might expect at a high-class restaurant!

But the thing that made the entire experience even more special is how the General Manager came by a few times to make sure everything was to my liking - he truly wanted to make it a special night and he did! I look forward to coming here again in the very near future!!

On a final note, the view is absolutely stunning so I recommend getting there early enough to see it before it gets dark.

I've eaten here twice and enjoyed the experience very much both times. Wait staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful, and the food is delicious. Despite the higher prices, the portion sizes are very decent and filling.

Service

The menu has a nice variety of breakfast and lunch food and everything we tried was delicious. Start with the crab hush puppies. So tender with three dipping sauces. Beignets were good, but very large. The shrimp and grits were a big hit - creamy, cheesy grits, large shrimp and plenty of andouille sausage in the creole sauce. The mushroom omelette was fluffy with tons of cheese and the Bella mushrooms were cooked perfectly. Not mushy or watery. The biggest hits at the table were the bacon side and the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. 4 generous pieces of perfectly cooked bacon with a very unique flavor. The meatloaf was tender and flavorful (pork and beef) with a rich sauce/gravy. The taters were fluffy and buttery. The gravy added flavor did not overwhelm the dish. We will be back.
