Never use them. I just got off the phone with GEICO to have them removed from their system, Customer service is the horrible. I really had to contain myself with this driver because it was business. Better not catch him in the street tho. And this idiot called me from his personal phone...Lol!!!!

Have never used these guys but after tonight would NEVER consider using them. A driver of an APT truck literally pushed everyone out his way getting onto I25. Almost hit me, rolled his window down and screamed :get out of the f#$% way i am going to a f##%ing accident you f#$%ing b#$%^!" Real classy, then proceeded to almost hit another car

This is the first negative review I have ever written. I don't like to affect small businesses when everyone can have an off day. However, my experience with this company and KAREN to be specifically got me so worked up I decided to share. Car broke down, needed a tow. They told me 1 hour to 1.5 hrs. I had to work so went back to the office. 15 minutes later they called said they were pulling up. I explained I would leave immediately and that I was 15 min away. It was 10 minutes later when Karen called me again. I explained it was 4pm on a Friday and traffic is bad I was about 5 blocks away. She proceeded to speak to me so rudely explaining that they don't get paid to wait he will be leaving in 5 minutes, I said I understood I will definitely be there in 5. She called about 2 minutes later, super super rude and cutting me off every time I went to speak. I said we are just about to come around the corner, she's like, you just said that 5 minutes ago, I said it was literally 1 minute and half min ago I'm looking at the call log, she was yelling at me when I started to say 'ma'am you are so rude, you told me at least an hour and then pulled up 15 minutes later so I immediately left work', but I couldn't get it out, she SCREAMED at me 'you'll have to call back and set up something else' and hung up. About a minute later we pulled up and no one was there. You're such a bee-yatch Karen. Ugh... get a new job if you're so miserable. You're awful energy really put a damper on my day. BOO! BOOOOOOOO to Karen and APT Towing!!

I would not recommend this company under any circumstances. This is our experience with them... We have roadside assistance through our insurance company. Our insurance company uses APT Service to provide towing service. Our car broke down on the side of a busy highway. We were clear that there were 2 adults and one baby in a car seat that needed transportation in addition to the car that needed to be towed. The driver that showed up had a truck with a single bench seat; we argued with him when he arrived about the fact that he did not have ability to transport us all safely in his vehicle to the dealership. When I spoke to our insurance company afterward, they had reviewed their records and confirmed they told the towing company the correct number of people needing transport. I believe the towing company knew they needed to transport 2 adults and an infant and told our insurance company they were able to do so, even though they were not able to do so, just so they could get the tow. The driver actually wanted my husband to lay down in the seat of our car while it was being towed on the flat bed. While we were arguing with the driver about the situation, he kept asking me to take my child's car seat out of our car; as soon as I removed the car seat and was installing it in the tow truck, he ran back and hooked up the car to the tow chain and pulled it on to the flat bed before I could get my purse or anything else I needed out of our car. He knew that there was another tow truck (with enough room for 3 passengers) on it's way from another company and said he "did not want to lose the tow". So the other tow truck got turned away and my husband and I had to ride illegally on this guy's bench seat, with the car seat in the middle, my husband sitting in the passenger seat and me sitting on my husband's lap. All the while the driver is telling us that he has done this many times before and it's perfectly safe, that he'd had as many as six people at one time riding in the cab of his truck - a cab that only has safety belts for 3 people. In addition, the driver would not turn on the air conditioning in the cab because he said if he did, the truck would overheat - and this was on one of the hottest days of the summer, with all of us crammed into the cab of his truck. Also, he could not find the dealership. We drove up and down the same road several times, all the while the driver was saying "I know where this dealership is, I've been here before". He did not use GPS or directions from his shop. My husband and I had to help direct him using our phones' GPS. I would not recommend using APT Service under any circumstances.

DO NOT USE! Worst customer service and integrity EVER! Jim, the owner, has to be the least trustworthy business owner I have ever come across. Slumlord office, people and service. DO NOT USE!

TERRIBLE!!!! Do not use. I had no choice when I was in an accident they towed my car. All of my belongings including my purse were stolen. I filled a police report and they have the driver on tape telling the detective he took the belonging but didn't know what he did with them. Then when I called Karen the manager she told me she didn't have to talk to me and hung up.
Do not use them they are crooks.

APT is by far the worst towing company in Denver and needs to be shut down. They do not follow Colorado P.U.C. regulations. They over charge on their rates. They have really nice trucks because they buy parking lots and rent them to businesses that way they can tow any car the second they see you leave the parking lot without utilizing the business that rents the parking lot. Gene, the owner, will inspect tow trucks that tow cars out of his lot. If he finds something that fails inspection, he contacts the P.U.C. and reports it, which is also against the law. As he is not a state patrol officer. All in all, it is best to avoid this company at all costs.

Do Not Use.
There are many choices in denver, don't risk getting ripped off. I was given a quote for a tow and was then forced to pay more then double to get my car back. They are obviously crooked, and given the number of choices for a tow service in denver no one should waste their time with APT.

A driver shows up in a nice new truck, gets out, and looks like a felon, oh waite, he is. Or you can request a few child molesters, or a few drug addicts. With one of the highest damage rate companies in Colorado, rest ashured, youl get the worst service you have ever had. 24 trucks, and 20 drivers that have records, and they tow for the city, ya, wow.
Every driver that has ever quit the comapany has never recieved a final check. The boss is screaming rude disrespectul comments to the drivers over the radio all day long, or lets discuss the many shops that have dropped APT as a tow provider because of poor service or management, and childesh behaviour. I dont think I have ever worked for a company that thrives on screwing over anyone they can for a dollar, or treating the drivers like dog poop like APT, and they seem to get off on it.
I was unloading a fully restored classic car to a repaire shop. As I opened the driver door, the shop ouner walked up to the truck. The owner was on the radio screaming at a driver saying that if she ever heard the driver say " ya " again she would shove her foot up his " you know what". The shop owner asked me who that was. I replied, " its the owner". his reply was that he needed to find another tow company to do business with. I agreed, so I quit. I went to pick up my final check. and was charged for a damge I never caused, and I have the pictures to prove it, well, thats just the type of crooked crap ya can expect as a driver and as a customer with APT.
Oh, and with so many bad reviews, the boss is haveing a driver lie and make up a good review to place? well, I know the driver that placed it. He not only screwed up a car badly, a old classic, APT screwed the customer out of getting it repaired.
If ya ever get your car towed from APT? make sure ya got full coverage, a dam good lawyer, and take pictures before and after. My best advice to you would be skip the headache, and call someone else.
