I'm writing this message from a different perspective and I feel I need to say something because I cannot believe that Cary and Mosaic Studios is still operating after so many complaints. I was a wedding photographer hired by Mosaic Studios to shoot a wedding in Miami back in Nov 2010.



I found the job posting on craigslist looking for wedding photographers. So I called him to set an appointment to meet him. When I met up with Cary, the owner, at his studio in Delray Beach, he seemed very professional and very friendly. He hired me for my first wedding as an assistant photographer and I went and shot it with the main photographer who i had met that day. After completing the day, I contacted Cary to let him know how the wedding went and that the photos were ready to be sent to him. I also asked when I would be expecting payment for my work. I never received a response back from him. So I called him a week later and still no response. Again, several weeks later and left him a message again stating that the photos were ready and that I would like to get paid. Still no response. Months went by and after so many emails and phone calls I finally got a call back from Cary. He apologized immensely for not getting back to me but his excuse was that his brother just died and that he had to go to the funeral. I believed him then, but after reading all these complaints, I now believe that was a lie and just another one of his excuses. I told him that I was sorry to hear about his brother's death (right thing to say) but that he should at least have emailed me sometime during the weeks after the first emails. I asked to get paid for my time shooting the wedding. He said that he would pay me asap. Well nothing happened for a while and he disappeared. At the same time, the groom who i shot the wedding for happened to call my cell and asked me if i had heard from Cary since he wasn't returning his calls or emails. They were waiting for their photos. That's when I realized that something was just not right. He told me that his wife was in tears because she was afraid that she was not going to get her photos since they had received no response from him. I told them that I also could not get a hold of him for weeks. I told the groom that I still had their wedding photos that I took and that they could at least rest assure that they had those from me if Mosaic Studios would not provide it to them. But the other photographer had the main photos and those were never sent to the couple by Mosaic Studios. I didn't personally know the main photographer so I couldn't say where those photos ended up.



Eventually Cary called me back and he ended up paying me after a lot of pressure from my end. But this was months after and after constant emails and phone calls. I never knew all these scams that were going on until reading them all online on several websites. What's sad is that it's almost 2013 and the complaints keep coming. Why is he still operating? My personal belief is that this guy and his wife Diane are con artists and will scam you out of your photos in hopes that you give up because of all the trouble. Sure I eventually got paid, but not after putting pressure on him and not giving up.

I posted this same review on yelp.....but do not use him. Plain and simple.

He's a gem up to the day of your wedding, even on it, but you will not hear back from him on your photos.

3 months after my wedding he put up photos on the site.

6 months later I still don't have my photos. And I've gone to his studio twice and no one was there...I even left a note the third time because there was still no one there. And I went at normal work hours (10 on a Monday, stopped in on Tuesdays).

I gave him $1,800 up front. I knew I should have said half now and half later. I'm kicking myself.

But don't use him. And if you do, make sure you get a very clear contract. Thank the good heaven I did, because I will take him to court if I have to. I spent every bit of my hard earned cash you better believe I'm getting what I paid for.

Yes, I agree, I am so disappointed and I do not want anyone to waste their money on their most important day. Although Cary is very talented and the day of and leading up to the wedding are very smooth, everything there after is a disgrace. We have not recieved our album 3 and a half years later. We have not recieved one call back in the last 4 months. We have not recieved our maternity pictures either. What a horrible company to do this to people. DO NOT BE FOOLED!!!!!

The one and only thing i would do different from my wedding is to NOT use Mosiac Studios, Cary....My wedding wasa 12/2/10 and my mom still does not have her album or pictures yet.....We have had to make several calls and emails to even get one return call...Cary promised on several different occasions that we, my mom, mother in law and myself, would be getting our stuff as promised.....we never received it.....i finally received my album in sept/ oct 2011....I am very disappointed in the quality of the pictures as well......I only used Mosiac Studios because The Addison recommended them.....I would never recommend them to anyone and i hope that The Addison is not recommending them any longer....

As soon as I saw Mosaic's website I knew they were the one. Cary and Natasha were so friendly and professional all our guest kepted telling me how impressed they were. Cary's artistry and creativity is unsurpassed - he is a true artist. For someone who has always felt uncomfortable having their picture taken, I felt at ease and had so much fun! When we received the finished product I cried - it was everything I dreamed it would be and more. I can't stop looking at my album, I show it off every chance I get. I highly recommend them, everything was so perfect!!!

Cary Gottlieb and the team at Mosaic literally made my wedding an unforgettable experience from start to finish. They were all so professional and wonderful to work with on my wedding day, when everything else seemed to go wrong. The artistry and creativity captured in their photos was amazing. We loved every single photo, honestly. We would highly recommend their services to anyone.

It's the worst decision I've ever made! My wedding date was on 5/23/2008, until today we still haven't gotten our wedding albums. The only thing we got so far is a cd of the pics. They changed vendor and the quality of the design is home-made quality, they were failed to delivered what was promised for the album, the pics taken was nothing like the samples on their website. Cary and Diane was very poor in responding to my ph call and emails. Very disappointed in their service. My baby is now almost 1 year old and we still did not have our wedding albums yet. We paid everything in full, and our package includes a cd with all of our pics, 2 photo books of all of our pic with 5 small clone photo books, a music dvd with photos playing in the length of 3 songs, and a 40 page wedding album. All we have gotten so far is just the cd with all our pics. the music dvd we got only has 1 song, and they don't use the song I provided. Very disappointed!!! DO NOT use this company if you want to see your wedding albums. Also the quality of the photos are not as creative as they were advertised on their website, they came out no different than my friend's digital camera.
