Overall
Outstanding healers at Thomas Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy! y

I've had a rash of mid-life musculoskeletal injuries after the age of 45 and the folks at Thomas Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy( abbreviated TOSPT) are ALWAYS my first line of defense and my healers. I never visit the "doctor" first, and by the way, I am a licensed, board certified practicing doctor myself.

What I have come to learn is that traditional orthopedists will order meds and scans and see you later while the therapists at TOSPT will go the distance testing all of your muscles and joints for strength, weakness, mobility and pain and after they assess the problem, they are HANDS on when it comes to restoring an injured part.

The therapists are highly educated, have outstanding bedside manners and genuinely want to restore every patient to their fullest pain free mobility and function. That is why I call them true healers and I never hesitate to refer anyone who is suffering from a limiting musculoskeletal problem to these therapists.

Many medical doctors just do not have the time or true understanding of the injuries we get so they prescribe a pill and order some xrays or an MRI and see you in a few weeks. Not the Thomas physical therapists, Randy and Sarah Thomas and Cheryl Furness. They understand that lot of stiffness and scarring occurs in injured tissue and joints that go untreated and unmoved. They want to work on that injured tissue several times a week until it is healed and I only wish the insurance companies would provide greater benefits for this type of healing therapy. I almost Never get an Xray or MRI any more, and I am a radiologist.

Instead, I go first to Sarah Thomas, my physical therapist and have her expertly assess my injury and then begin my course of treatment and exercise with her. She has an uncanny gift when it comes to finding out the root of an injury and an uncanny ability to treat it physically until it is healed. I am always in motion and never take meds for my sports injuries. I seek the healing hands of Sarah Thomas and have never been disappointed. No side effects other than a greater understanding of my body and the joints, soft tissues and response to injury that the body undergoes.

I also take my children to them when they are having musculoskeletal issues as well. They truly go the extra mile with kids and have yet to order unnecessary xrays or recommend meds.

Their office walls are lined with autographed photos of the many professional athletes who have been successfully treated by the Thomas Physical Therapy group.

This is the "go to" group as far as I am concerned.
