Flooring
Flooring: Epoxy floor sealers (trowel or rolled) for hospitals, laboratories, parking decks, floor processing plants, or any area where a sanitary environment is necessary. Leaves a surface that is durable and easy to clean.
Drywalls
Alcan wanted to improve the energy efficiency within certain portions of their plant operation. Because of their environment there was no expectation or interest in drywall over the foam. FoamCoat covered 16,000 feet with one inch of PSI’s #255 One-Step wall foam. Work was done nights and weekends to avoid disruption to plant operations. Skylight Repair/Replacement
The skylights contributed to the leaking problems as well as being a danger to anyone on the roofs, including FoamCoat crews. They needed to be made safer. There were two valleys between the three sections that were over 200 feet long that had severe “ponding” issues and were leaking badly at various points. Because the company’s goal was to do only “what had to be done”, the analysis of bad areas and how large the sections were that needed done was critical.

Room Additions
New Construction
Like any new construction integrating our efforts into the production schedule was a challenge. Work had to be at a certain point before we could begin our installation and we found ourselves continuously ahead of the other trades with a result of more trips to the site than originally anticipated. We worked in the evenings and nights to avoid disruption of other trades in the building. Work had to be done in a professional, timely manner with each night’s work requiring the area to be masked and sprayed then the area cleaned up and equipment moved out prior to the next day shift. As well as our normal equipment we utilized a mobile spray unit that could be easily transported to the appropriate floor and removed easily.

Landscaping and Fencing

Driveways
Easily applied. The surface does not require extensive preparation such as wet-curing, or abrasive blasting to remove many prior stains. The products can be sprayed, brushed or rolled on. An in-house maintenance group can effectively use the products for sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, decks or concrete or masonry structures.
Retaining Walls
Polyureas are a proven choice for some of the toughest conditions. They are superior to urethanes and epoxies where you need quick cure time developing chemical resistance and physical properties within hours of application. They can be applied successfully under greater extremes of atmospheric conditions. Their flexibility makes them an excellent choice where the substrate expands or contracts. The VFI Polyureas are a durable and proven choice in such applications as roofs, pipe and pipelines, bridges, tank coatings and linings, wastewater treatment facilities, retaining walls, tunnels and numerous others.
Walkways
Provide replacement foam roof system over leaking and deteriorated existing roof. The gravel was removed from the existing ballasted roof and roof was prepared for foam application. Spray Polyurethane Foam was applied over the entire structure with extra care taken around mechanical systems and other roof protrusions. Silicone base coat and top coat was applied over all foam. Walkways were built to the mechanical systems and granulated.

Decks
"Green". These water-based products contain no oils or toxins and emit no VOCs. They have quickly become the product of choice for many DOTs for bridge treatment because, while provide outstanding protection for bridge decks, and sealing hairline cracks in both decks and columns, they are not harmful to the water supply, fish or animals.
Siding
Residential Roof Repair
The roofing project had to be completed without disruption to the daily operation of the store. There was a large concern with potential overspray possibilities.
Residential Roof Replacement/Installation
The potential for overspray was a significant concern. The shopping center was undergoing significant renovation and the owner did not want the roof replacement to provide any further disruption to the tenant’s businesses.

Painting
Insulation
Stop the leaking and improve the insulation value of the shopping center roof by replacing the rubber roof system with a new foam system.
Masonry
Parking garages, bridges, concrete walls and masonry buildings can be waterproofed and sealed. This process can not only protect a structure but can stop stains (mildew, efflorescence, etc.) and can help reduce existing mildew and stains from structures. Small cracks (up to 1/16 inch) are automatically sealed in the initial process, with larger cracks or seams able to be sealed with additional products and extra effort.
Caulking
A. One of the advantages of foam roofs is their easy maintainability. Penetrations of the roof service from wind damage, dropped tools, etc. can simply be patched with polyurethane caulking. A variety of coating choices are available with from 5 to 20 years of expected protection from UV rays. Timely recoating will bring the roof back to it's original condition.

Pressure Washing

Residential Pressure Washing
The minimal prep work required included power washing the roof prior to foam application. Foam and silicone base and top coats were applied to the roof. Due to short time windows of good weather, for selected portions of the work FoamCoat sent an extra crew to help beat expected rain and colder weather.
