We had the worst experience with Wayne Frank. I feel the best word that would describe our experience was best articulated in a popular business review site as "hostage". We signed a contract in the Summer of 2014 and the final inspection done in November 2015 for a three month project. Yes, 1 1/2 year for a quoted 3 month project! We too have a contract with "BBB accredited business" logos on it, and evidently this is not the case. We too experienced similar delays, strategic starting of separate parts of the project (each requiring large percentage draws of money). .He too blamed weather for months of delay on a concrete project, even though 2 separate subcontractors (we were requested to find in order to assist him in finding someone to finish the job) INCLUDING the company that actually did the job, stated they had completed several jobs during that same "rainy" period. We were told dates that work would be done and then met with countless delays or no show. When you are in the mist of this, this creates a constant state of mental distress. There were problems literally at every phase, from stacked stone that was falling off the very next day (and continues to fall off to this day) AND being told this is normal, to all the plans being left in the rain, to having several thousand dollars worth of artificial turf being ruined (even though I had communicated to roll it back and protect it). Midway, we had lost confidence and had agreed to not have a major portion of the project done, however because he had acquired 3 major draws, at this point we had paid over 100%, with several line items yet to be completed. Any attempt to re acquire any money to keep him accountable was met with finding money we had "owed" him because of extra square footage of concrete poured that was not on the contract (even though I was told not to worry about it when I noticiticed it during the pour). Thus we felt hand cuffed and had to comply for fear of him running out of money or going out of business. This is a source of much stress, as we had to pay for other damages caused during the construction process. Please BEWARE.
