Dollar General

I have shopped at this DG almost daily since its opening. Today I swiped my card and it said approved, then their computer froze. The manager told me I would have to swipe my card again. I called the cc company to confirm the transaction went through. He said I could not leave the store with my items!! I had paid for my items, the money had gone through my credit card! I told them that I was either leaving with my items or my money. The manager was rude, and kept insisting that my card had not been charged and that when the computer was back up they would run it again. I told him he was not running my card twice when it had already gone through my bank! When his computer came back up, my receipt came out, I had in fact been charged! No apology for threatening me, or being rude as hell, or for being wrong!! I will drive the extra 5 miles to Walmart from now on. I have spent entirely too much money (100's of $'s every week) in that store to be treated with such disrespect!
