Persian Treasure Rugs Persian Treasure Rugs has been serving the Southern California area as a Designer showroom of mid range to "high end" area Rugs since 1978. Located on Newport Blvd. in the Costa Mesa/Newport Beach area of Southern Orange County where the 55 Freeway ends. The showroom displays over 5, 000 rugs. Persian Treasure Rugs was founded by Manny Yeroushalmi in 1978, after he spent a significant amount of time working in the Rug Center in Iran. Originally from Iran, Many brings a mixture of traditional design and elegance to the contemporary, upscale markets of the United States. His selections include antique masterpieces as well as decorative and antique remakes of top designers. In 2002, yet another generation came into the business. After graduating from UCLA Hooman and Babak Yeroushalmi decided that they had the same passion for their family business as their father. The twin sons of the family learned the rug business so well that they had the insight to connect the old world of hand made rugs with today's world of design. Their passion for rugs was so strong that they wanted to know and feel every detail about the production and business of rugs, so they traveled to the rug weaving regions of the world. Then, with the help and experience of their father they established exclusive relationships with the finest rug weaving workshops around the world that make new rugs in the fashion of antique rugs using the same concepts, design and structure of the antique rugs while updating the colors to suit today's tastes. Persian Treasure Rugs assists Designers, as well as retail customers in matching and coordinating colors, textures, and weaves to achieve a balanced and often, striking interior environment.
