Riders Revelation

Last week I brought my bike here for some LED mods and got hooked up and back on the road fast ... Riders Rev has great service for those in a hurry and need work done right! Special thanks for all the extra information too customer service goes a long way these days and often we customers get neglected frequently from the busy corporate shops. I have referred all my R6 buds here!

I have been here many times i know all the guys that work here personally and they are all great for customer service. Their work ethic is amazing and their work ethic is amazing i have never had an issue i have had my powder coat done, subcage installed and my regular service would go no where else

I have been going to Jimmy for anything motorcycle related since 2008, and I just wouldn't take my bike anywhere else for motorcycle service or motorcycle repair. He has been an amazing resource for information on motorcycles, tires, parts, maintenance, or just as a sounding board for ideas. I have always been the type to research and compare pricing thoroughly before pulling the trigger, and I've always found Jim to be fair, and up-front on pricing. In my opinion being confident in your machine is second to none; this is why I've always appreciated the great attention to detail and quality in which his shop offers. I have gone to Jimmy for anything from a quick oil change to full race prep including: Race Plastic install, Brembo Master, Brake Bleed, Exhaust System install, Full Dyno tune w/ PC, Tire Installation, Full Engine Teardown, and the list goes on. And a primary reason for my dealing with Jimmy exclusively is his ability to deliver, turning around jobs in the time frame promised every time. If you're looking for a good motorcycle shop, i'd give him a visit!

Usually, my reviews are restaurant / food based. But this shop along with my favorite Benz shop deserves an outstanding review.



I've been riding sportbikes for roughly 9-10 years on and off. I recently bought a brand new 2013 Suzuki GsxR. I absolutely love this bike. And just like my car, I completely baby this thing. It's now my new weekend toy. I'm a very meticulous individual. As in... I don't just bring my heavily modified Benz out to just any shop. Well, in this case... my bike. I browsed the net for days looking for a very good and reputable shop to take my bike to for its initial break-in service and possibly install a set of HID's. Why not take it back to the dealer? Well, as some may agree, it's expensive and sometimes the quality of work isn't even as good.



I came across Riders Revelation through Google and Yelp. I thoroughly reviewed their website and I was immediately attracted by all of the pics posted. Not only that, the services listed on the site definitely got my attention. So I went ahead and sent an email with an inquiry on an appointment and prices. It wasn't even that long until I received a response. I'm sure every day is different, but I received a call by Jimmy (owner) within hours answering all my email questions.



During a work week, I had set up an appointment on a Saturday morning, and he was cool with it. As my work-week went on, I realized that I might actually have time on a Friday afternoon to swing by there instead of a Saturday morning. I immediately called Jimmy, and he said that he'll gladly service my bike that Friday.



Friday afternoon came along, and I head on out to his shop. I arrived there and met Jimmy in person. Great guy, down to earth, and very funny. I also met Derek, his partner or tech. Both of them are really cool friendly guys. They'll pretty much answer all of your questions and concerns about your bike.



Upon arriving, they offered me water / snacks. Along with working on bikes, they were also setting up shop. Keep in mind that this location is fairly new. We spoke about service prices and HID prices. I'm the type of person who does his research prior to going to any shop / store / dealer. I shopped around for prices, and I was surprised that the figures he threw at me were so much cheaper than any place I inquired at. As far as the HID's, it's not some no-name, cheap brand kit. It was a brand that I personally have been using since 2006. Lifetime warranty and the quality is superb. Its the same brand I've been using on my Benz, as well as my previous car. I gave him the green light to have them installed, both low beam and high beam.



While they worked on my bike, Jimmy kept me entertained. He threw on some NetFlix on his PlayStation 3. I sat on their famous massage chair, and had a full on 30 minute massage while watching movies. LoL. Pretty cool for a bike shop.



Their work was very neat, clean, precise, and fast. With the bike still being new, Derek gave me a few pointers on how I can maintain it to keep it in "like new" condition. Both Jimmy and Derek are very knowledgeable. Gotta hand it to them.



Once my bike was finished, Jimmy test rode my bike to ensure that everything was good to go and correctly done. I must say, everything was great. The bike felt smoother, the lights looked nice and extremely bright. Totally loved it.



Overall, Riders Revelation is a probably the one bike shop that I'll continue to go to time and time again. Jimmy and Derek will take care of your bike and treat it as if it was theirs... with care. Prices are super competitive, well... it's the best that I've found.



For those who've never been to Riders Revelation, I would definitely give them a try. You have nothing to lose.

I'm so glad I found this motorcycle shop :) Last week I told my friend Luis that I was having trouble with my bike because it would start and immediately shut off. I have had it for about 2 years now and it was the first time it gave me this sort of trouble and he referred me to Riders Revelation. They immediately figured out the problem. (My air filter was clogged and the spark plug was pretty much fried.) The boys over at Riders Revelation are experienced professionals, and made me a happy rider. Thanks guys!

I used to go to Jimmy when he was the main man over at Mach 1 Motorcycles in Costa Mesa. It's a real shame that Mach 1 didn't work out for him, I thought he was going to own that place some day. Even though I used to take my bikes to Mach 1 Motorcycles, I came to realize it wasn't the service that was special it was Jimmy Summers. In fact a few times I thought that something not so good was going on with my bike over in the service department there.



Now that Jimmy has his own place I have already had him work on 2 of my bikes in his offsite warehouse and I am so happy with what he has done. His prices are more than reasonable for the professional quality of work and I know I can trust him.
