Teeth Cleaning
Molly graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Oklahoma. She joined our team in July of 2015. Dental Sealants
When we apply a dental sealant, we paint a plastic coating on top of your teeth. This makes your teeth smooth getting rid of the rough edges, depressions, and grooves that are commonly found on teeth. It is essentially a protective coating against tooth decay and cavities.

Fillings
Resin Composite
Many people get cavities and broken teeth. To treat them, we offer fillings. Most people prefer to use composite resin because it looks like your normal teeth, though there are other options if you prefer. Composite resin takes a little longer because we have to apply it one layer at a time. We also need to use a special light to harden the area around the filling.
Veneers
Veneers are a more affordable option than caps. They are used to cover stains, chips, decays, and irregularities. They are better than bonding because they won’t lose their color like bonding will.
Crowns
Crowns are placed to help improve your smile. They cover up your bad tooth, giving you a natural-looking, healthy smile.
Bridges
Bridges – Bridges can solve the issue of missing teeth. Similar to dentures, bridges replace gaps in your smile with artificial teeth. Bridges can be made from a variety of materials including porcelain, gold, and alloys. Bridges can be removable or fixed. Removable bridges can be taken out and cleaned by patients, whereas fixed bridges have to be removed by a dentist. Bridges can be implanted to the jaw or under the gums. With so many options, it is important to consult with your dentist about which type of bridge is best for you.
Dental Bonding
Dental bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-colored plastic material to a patient’s tooth. Using a special light, we make the material harden and bond to the tooth.

Root Canal Treatment
Root Canal – A root canal is a procedure used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. Although normal tooth decay can become increasingly worse and eventually lead to a root canal, often times blunt trauma can cause the tooth to die as well. Your dentist will remove the dead nerve from the tooth and then seal it off to prevent another infection or abscess from forming around the tooth. If the nerve is not removed the infection will continue to climb deeper into your gums, often causing swelling, pain, and discomfort.

Dentures
Dentures – Removable dental replacements, or dentures, are a common service that we provide for our clients. We provide both complete dentures (for when all teeth are missing) and partial dentures (for when some teeth are missing). There are both conventional and immediate dentures. Conventional dentures are made after the teeth have been removed and are placed 8 to 12 weeks after removal. Immediate dentures are made in advance and can be positioned as soon as the teeth are removed.

There are many options for teeth whitening including toothpastes, at-home bleaching, and bleaching in our office. Since each one works differently (and has different results), you should talk to us before you decide to bleach your teeth.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Drs. Wayne and Julie Scott continue to take advanced training in various aspects of cosmetic dentistry such as, veneers, bonding, all ceramic and implant crowns, as well as same day E4D crowns. Also, they have had special training in Sports Dentistry since they are the team dentist for the Dallas Cowboys Football Team and the Dallas Stars Hockey Team. Drs. Wayne and Julie Scott have been providing dental care and custom mouth guard fabrication for the Dallas Cowboys Football Team since 1990. Furthermore, the doctors have been providing rink side dental care to the Dallas Stars Hockey Team during games to treat dental injuries as well as providing custom mouth guards, including Under Armour mouth guards, since 1994. They are also members of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Dallas County Dental Society.
General Dentistry
Dr. Alex is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He keeps up to date in all the latest trends in dentistry through numerous advanced continuing education courses.
