Batchelor & Kimball is a mechanical contracting firm incorporated in 197 and providing commercial heating ventilating and air conditioning, plumbing and fire protection services for various types of facilities, institutional work including medical gas systems and industrial process work. Its registered engineers and field labor force including pipe fitters, certified welders, plumbers and sprinkler fitters. The company offers design, build and construction capabilities including selected subcontractors for electrical and general construction depending on the scope of work. Its projects comprise research and development facilities, industrial process work, office buildings, all phases of hospital construction and renovation, data processing facilities and central energy plants. Batchelor & Kimball, located in Lithonia, Ga., has 150 employees including 13 project managers, three registered engineers, 22 field foremen and 100 field personnel. The majority of the piping, plumbing and fire protection systems are prefabricated in its shop and delivered to the field for installation.
